1000%. AI should be used to augment, not to replace. I basically see it as getting to siphon as much information out of a grey beard as I can while working on a project.

It’s only cringe if they’re trying to be cool/hip/funny. If they’re just being themselves I say live and let live.

It wasn’t anything specific. I was being out in different projects that required me to have lunch before or after them. Eventually I just couldn’t sync up with them any more. Then there’s some health treatments my wife has been dealing with that I’ve had to be there for. That has me showing up in different schedules and often leaving early. At this point it’s just been a natural growing apart.

I built an API with Claude Code in C# and I think it did a decent job, though I did a lot of hand holding. I gotta go back and read that code again though, it’s been a while.

The only options are to be afraid or mentally checkout and stop caring and give the company their slop cause that’s what they pay you for. Then, you build your own thing yourself on the side.

Highly recommend reading and learning from Claude. I prefer to ask Claude questions like it’s Stack Overflow as opposed to just asking it to write the code.

The way the industry is now, all you’re getting me to show up to is work. Fuck a team, fuck a demo, fuck all that extra shit. If it doesn’t require me to pull up a type I’m going home.

You literally can’t address the problems of today without analyzing where they came from and how they got here. You’ll just be building a house of cards, especially in the situation we find ourselves in.

To actually have a foundation worth building on top of, we have a lot of work reversing the statutes that are still in place today that lead to this situation. And that requires a discussion on the past.

Next steps: learn to heal and hold the system accountable for its actions. Not necessarily in that order and can be performed in parallel.

What would come of this: likely an economic, cultural and hopefully psychological secession where our community transforms from being fully integrated and dependent on the grater society to being prosperous on its own and said integration can be seen as leverage for growth rather than dependency.

What would be the outcome, etc. Hopefully a fully independent, sufficient, and functional society that can focus on blackness and its potential on its own as opposed to the lens of American capitalism. It’d matter because it continues the process of growth.

By what margin: Quantification is probably not the most effective method for framing it but even from that perspective, slavery out lasted every other atrocity but a mile.

What degree: this will likely require more time to truly create a framework as duration is one angle but severity is another (the severity of atrocities committed during subjugation). Whether or not reparations were received can be compared of course. Lasting effects. Etc.
