Yeah. I have seen this plenty of times. Why make the stick person struggle to get a die when the dealer can simply move it to the come after the call. No big deal. Rather than the stick bumping into chips or slowing the game by clawing at the stubborn cube.

building on the right says primary care physicians. The building itself also looked really familiar. So i just google mapped that area and then did a quick search and noticed that the trees matched up with it being not on the regular street but in the parking lot.

First off, what you are currently doing is probably the best way to play. Pass line with odds, place 6/8. My only suggestion is to press when you teach your initial money on the table.
Otherwise, you could stsrt betting place bets on the other numbers. I like going across, and having 4-10 covered. But that comes with higher risk and a need for a bigger bankroll.
Everyone shoots themselves in the foot for not pressing or walking away after a godroll. Don't beat yourself up over it. Learn to be patient and when the time is right, press with house money!
The other table you jumped on was a crapless craps table. There is no don't pass/don't come and 2,3 and 12 don't lose, and 11 doesnt win on pass. They become point numbers.
Crapless is a fun variation, but can be volatile. Need a bigger bankroll for that.
