Attack Shark V8, it is a clone of DAV4, Omron optical switches, which are super nice, good QC, long battery life. And it's quite cheap, around 50 Euros in Amazon.de

No, those people usually post on r/mousereview because they think what they did is actually nice.

But they kept the 005 in the filename, what great customer support.

Does anyone still have the original 005 ISO file ? Because the incredibly bad CSE simply does nothing when trying to update, it fails, while the manual update Choose File button is simply dead for me, does absolutely nothing at all.

I have no idea what happened, but the ISO inside says T500_P8CR004.iso

As far as I know, they all have that one if they have 3 pins.

SPDT can be done with any 3 pin mechanical switch, it's just electrical design in the PCB and software in the firmware.

All the reasons I don't like 3D printed shells and did not get excited about an IE3.0 clone.

Given the power management chip is Nordic and is dedicated exclusively to Nordic MCUs, one would conclude the Aeroha chip is simply a Nordic design built cheaper/licensed.

Probably no DAV4 wired, so just repair the DAV3 wired, cable and scroll encoder should be easy to do, any local electronics repair shop can replace those easily, just buy the correct parts online.

For the sake of curiosity, please post pictures when you actually do get around to cleaning said dust proof encoder.

None of the suggestion I've read so far are in fact DAV3/4 clones. But yes, there are clones of DAV3/4, been already discussed several times if you had bother to search. Or at least tried the Eloshapes find similar...but I guess such things are far beyond the average redditor.

Cannot speak for the Machenike, but the EWEADN and Attack Shark are quite good, each in their own way.
