What are some of the most features you are looking for?

As someone with insight into the operational costs of an uptime monitoring service, I can confidently say that 62.5% is well disproportionate (in excess) to how costs have increased over the past year. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are trying ways to increase revenue before a buyout.

For monitoring clients websites, Ping checks aren’t going to be sufficient as the server can be responding but either the Webserver or MySQL service could be down and your website(s) wouldn’t render. A HTTP check with keyword validation (i.e. to check whether a specific phrase on that website is showing) will help to mitigate both of these.
