I just remember being flabbergasted when I was younger, moved from Lanarkshire to Dundee, only to discover I was still on the same waiting list!
Had to move to England to get a reasonable wait time/ accidentally end up with a GP willing to do bridging care, it just insanity
And my cis friends all have a bizarre unwavering view that the NHS will fix it in the end 🙃
Step one imo (and it’s nowhere near enough) is to force the GPs hands and make bridging care standard practice (because informed consent would just be too much to ask)
