Yep, take your time with it is the most important thing. Look over your parts really well before mating them, check them over again before the snap fit and trim nubs anywhere you might have missed. This is only my 3rd real grade, and Ive managed to break a single piece on each one so far… they’re delicate (some individual pieces). They look good as snap builds, better if you get a fine tip Gundam marker and panel line then matte coat them.

You can see the white stress marks in the corners where I had to do a glue up repair. The damage is about 50% hidden in further assembly. This is what happens when you try separating parts with no finesse.

Looks good to me. I just completed my 3rd fully painted kit and haven't even attempted pre-shading yet.

after some digging around, I found something that might suit you. the video transmitter is questionable, since there are no specs given on it, and I wouldn't expect it to reach your 200m requirement. otherwise, it has a decent review, is budget friendly, and has parts support should you happen to wad it up and break something. the downfall is its Banggood, and they can be slow when it comes to shipping.

It does have camera and transmitter, but will require a monitor or goggle solution if he wants to get into FPV. presently out of stock until 12/1.
