Yes it’s called Bacillus cereus (fried rice syndrome).

I’ve always heard that left over pasta and left over rice are both very easy to get food poisoning from.

My 3 year old says thank you all the time without being prompted because we model the behavior. We do have to teach him to say please sometimes though instead of demanding things. But I would definitely say yes, we’re teaching please/thank you because it’s preparing them to speak in a way that adults do

My first child stopped taking naps shortly after he turned 2. I now also have a 10 month old and she can nap on the go like when we’re in the car or a contact nap while I’m baby wearing her while shopping. As for the 7pm bedtime thing, I usually don’t have anywhere or anything to do after 7pm and am so exhausted by the end of the day, leaving the house would be the last thing I wanted to do 🥲 the first year is the hardest adjustment but as they get older, they will nap less and less.

I had mine 21 months apart (planned to get pregnant when my first was 12 months) and I honestly wish I had waited longer. I feel like there is a lot that I missed out on with my first because he became the “older brother” before he was even 2, so I basically had 2 babies at once. I’m the kind of person who always has baby fever 24/7 because I love babies but I’m definitely going to space out my next 2 a little further. I think 2.5-3 years is perfect because the older child will be old enough to potty train and understand the big change ahead of getting a new sibling.
