I search a tag on bandcamp and listen to sample tracks.
The other day: Slovakian black metal

I also don't listen to anything with a melodic intro of more than 10 seconds because Im bored to DEATH of intro's.

BUT if you spend every waking hour listening to new albums, that's 16 albums per day (1 per hour)
Which is 112 albums per week.
Over a year that could amount to 5,824 albums.
So ... stop using the old ''I'm in a black hole'' excuse lol

Any white goods or furniture items that belong to you with flat surfaces can be wallpapered with retro or original 70s wallpaper. I'm going to wallpaper the sides of my fridge with a bold green 70s pattern ( vintage wallpaper roll-end I got off eBay) You can also frame and hang 70s wallpaper or fabric samples to inject some of that big bold colourful design to your walls

Not that it was a business lol

But I got to a point where I thought, I've had a great and Interesting sex life, and now .. I don't feel a need to do it anymore, and I feel good about closing that door and becoming an island where my body is MINE all the time. I told my husband this is how I felt and he said he was ok with it, but who knows what he really thinks. 

Having said that, we might have random sex maybe twice a year but it's usually my doing.

I waited and waited for a cool day. Back in May I had lots of garden jobs lined up, other outside stuff to do .... after a month or so I started to lose hope ... now I've quite forgotten what I wanted to do outside.
But it was nice to walk the dog at 9am (instead of 6am) and not sweat... a real fancy treat.

It took me half a day to remember where Id seen that actor before - Kevin A.Moulds (Kevin Arnold) dad in The Wonder Years

In almost every episode, I said - thats red john! about at least one character, so I probably guessed at some point during watching lol

Towards the end I thought it was going to be Bertram or maybe JJ LaRouch

This was a fantastic episode! Was not expecting it. I especially like how none of them was charged with any wrong doing.

I can't believe he just blew up/died in that explosion and that was the end of that.

Took me about 4 or 5 episodes to get over that .... the FBI backdrop was so drab as well.. everything seemed grey and dull and steely.
But I soon got into the new characters and stories. I guess the last 2 seasons were about Janes after life ... a lot of shows don't venture into the characters' after life, so this was quite nice.

I loved Walter Mashburn! I loved how he just let them do stuff like trash his car, and he thought everything was funny or interesting, I wanted him to return to more episodes! Glad Lisbon got a go on him lol

I agree, its nice to be able to legit moan and see others hate it too lol

This year I just have this feeling of total disappointment.

I look forward to summer - or should I say sun and warmth - because I get SAD in winter, so I look forward to long walks, not wearing wellies and coats, doing gardening, going to the beach, visiting castles and stuff.

But ... not in 33*.
Nope.

Ive been looking out the window at my garden, watching it dessicate and burn... wearing sack-like dresses that are 2 sizes too big ... contemplating the beach but not wanting to melt in the car to get there.... constant risk of sunburn ... waiting til 9pm to walk the dog at which point I'm tired and it gets dark ..... watching films instead of doing things indoors 'cos its hot indoors as well and I hate sweating ... not visiting people because its less convenient to cool down at other peoples houses ... days off work because its too hot = lost income ... and this year, mosquitoes in the house munching on us all night ...

So yeah - moaning ftw

It feels like that. It's been hot for so long that rain feels like a distant memory.
But IT WILL RAIN.

I try to think of science stuff like our latitude, the earths rotation and orbit around the sun, and the days shortening - those things don't support eternal summer and no rain.

What annoys me is that it could be like this next summer, every summer - so, what, am I going to lose 3 months of my life EVERY summer? I think Ive put on about a stone sitting around doing nothing but watch films and eat ice cream.

It used to be just school holidays - end of July and August - that MIGHT be occasionally too hot for me. This year (and last year tbh) it's been half of May, June, July, August .. that's a lot of lost time.

And I can't think of a solution. Yes, more fans or AC might make my house more bearable, but in summer I want to go outside really because it rains every bloody day of winter 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Yep, I do this. Evaporative cooling - its a lifesaver!

I wear a wet nightshirt and aim the fan right at me. Chilly! Works a treat for about 4 hours.

lol... last night I walked the dog at 7.30 and felt a few tiny raindrops, looked up to see a small slightly grey cloud, it was incredible.

I use bbc weather, and for about a month it's said there will be rain in a weeks time.
Yeah, mate... where 'rain' translates to 'more sun'.
