Ah, the classic meat cute.

If you want a slightly lower-tech (and lower cost solution), what I did was pick up a switched 2-output USB 3.0 hub, then used the old VGA inputs on my monitors for my work laptop and left the DVI/DP for my personal desktop. I had to frankstein together a few adapters to convert some DP and HDMI ports from the laptop dock to VGA, but it was a bit cheaper and forced me to do some much needed under-desk cable management.
A proper KVM switch is still going to be the most effective solution, but if your work isn’t too graphically demanding, this might be good enough.

If you don’t have masks with a good seal over the bridge of your nose, try a bandaid or some sports tape like this.

Not with specifically this model, but I’ve had disappointing results with Ethernet powerline adapters in all four homes I’ve tried installing them. The best solution I’ve found is MoCA adapters, which do essentially the same thing as powerline but using the coax lines in your home. They’re a bit pricier but have been rock solid in my experience.
If you have conveniently located coax jacks, install a MoCA compatible splitter where the line enters your house (and a filter so your home network doesn’t leak out), and pick up a couple of adapters, you can get very close to Ethernet speeds. Some routers even have MoCA built-in, which means you only need one adapter.

I have the non-glass version of this case and love it. Does anyone know if the side panel from this one would fit my case? I feel like the acrylic window is a dust and scratch magnet.

My fiancée gave me a bidet toilet seat attachment for Valentines Day as a joke and it is the best gift I have ever received. To anyone else in the market for a romantic present, they’re only about $30 on amazon, install in minutes and will make you feel like a new, better person after each use. We talk about removing it if we are ever showing the house to sell, but I maintain that it adds value.

I had this same issue with my house (built in 1998) and ended up going with MoCA adapters instead. They’re similar to ethernet over powerline except they connect to the coax line, if you have one near your computer. The router I got from Fido (possibly the same white plastic tower Rogers rents) has MoCA built in, so I just put an adapter in the office upstairs and one in the family room in the basement. It delivers low ping at our max speed and is as close as you can get to gigabit networking without running ethernet. I can transfer between NAS devices at full speed and have no trouble getting my full internet up/down speeds.
The only real drawbacks are that you need a coax jack near where you want ethernet, unless you have a good way to hide a cat6/5e wire between the nearest coax jack and your PC. You should also pick up a filter (~$20) to keep your network inside your house and might need to buy a compatible coax splitter where your line into the house splits to go to different rooms (MoCA operates at a frequency band above cable tv or internet to avoid interference but most CATV splitters filter out that range). The devices have coax passthrough so they will work even without a newer router, you just need 2.
TLDR: if you have a coax (cable TV) wall jack nearby, a MoCA adapter can give you speed and reliability close to having a direct line.

Sadly, their website does not allow donations from outside of the US. Tit Liquid will have to keep his money for now.

Seriously, I ended up doing this two years ago. There is a shortage of affordable rentals. Unfortunately, most people looking to rent don’t have a downpayment saved up.

Thanks! I just called the nearest CC and I’m picking it up tonight. Hopefully this frees up some desk space compared to the old HAF922 I’ve had for ages. And I won’t have to use homemade dust filters anymore.

Or you could make it an organized event!

Pretty good, overall. I went to their location in Mississauga to get measured with some other members of a wedding party. We picked our customizations (there are more options than I ever realized but I don’t know a ton about suits) and a few weeks later we got our suits in the mail. They told me to bring it back in once I received it so they could do any final alterations but I believe they also cover a certain amount if you have a tailor near you do it. They will let you measure yourself but I could not have done as thorough a job as they did at the store.
I’m waiting to get my finished suit back but it fit very well when I got it and looked as good as any suit I’ve bought from Moore’s. The price was about the same as buying off the rack.

I have been happy with VP Tailors, though I’ve only had alterations done there. They’re at 925 Paisley Rd but you could try calling them first to see if they can do what you want.
I recently had a custom suit made by Indochino that they shipped to me when it was done, but they might only do menswear. Their price was comparable to buying one off the rack at Moore’s.

Canadian English uses slightly different spelling than American English, such as the addition of the letter u in words like “colour” or “neighbour”, or using “re” instead of “er” in words like “theatre”. US and Canadian dollars are usually close in value (give or take 25% or so), so it is not always immediately obvious which currency a website is using. If the URL doesn’t end in “.ca” instead of “.com”, it could go either way.
My joke wasn’t great to begin with but I like to think my explanation gives it an extra flair.
AwkwardCough
Just look for extra u’s in words and re’s instead of er’s.

I would not describe anything the Teutonic Knights in AoE2 do as "running".

I had the same experience. I had an old 360 controller that was wearing out and thought I'd give the steam controller a try. It definitely was not for me. I spent several days just tying to get the right touch pad to act like a normal controller joystick and then gave up and returned it. I found another 360 controller in better condition and stuck with that for couch gaming.

I would highly recommend the Tit Liquid episode. I still go back to that one from time to time.

You can also get these for diving/snorkelling masks. I have a pair with no prescription in them but if I ever get back into it the company can apparently make me lenses for it with my script.

I thought it was pretty bohr-ring.

In a sense, but they tend to frown on cashing in your chip.

That's exactly why I switched back. I use dollar shave club now so I'm still saving money and it is so much faster than my DE.
