The Battle of Blair Mountain in 1921 is a perfect example of how far companies will go to resist reform or better conditions for employees.

Pro-union workers died fighting state police in a shootout of thousands of people escalating to the point of police using biplanes to drop crude bombs on the workers until the US Army and National Guard stepped in to order a surrender from the workers.

The whole ordeal started over coal workers being exploited working long hours in insanely dangerous conditions, forced to live in company housing and being paid in scrip that you could only redeem in company stores that fully controlled pricing. Union organizers trying to help them were being openly murdered until 10,000 armed union miners from another county came to their aid.

Nicely done! Reminds me a bit of their appearances in the Theatrhythm game.

No officially sourced time or date. Capcom lends itself more to the 1-2 days before release for embargo rather than day and date though so you could very well wake up to reviews being posted tomorrow morning.

If you play through the DLC in NG+, you can acquire a second gold vinyl record for the OST track "If I did it" that you got in the first playthrough, except it has blood splatters on the cover and the word "If" is crossed out.

The Overture DLC elevated the experience and story of Lies of P as much as the Old Hunters did to Bloodborne a decade ago. That final sequence in Overture is right up there among the best memories of any Souls/Fromsoft game I have.

Wow, you have traveled deep into the archives!
Happy to be a fan for 15 years.

You’re not alone. There are dozens of you.

While I think the uncanny and gross unmistakably AI vibe is there, I think DD2's art style lends itself more to this tech than most implementations I've seen in other games.

I'm neither here nor there about it, but just wanted to post some actual decent comparison shots for those interested.

Homie, you’re thinking of Big Angel Outside

I chuckled when at the bottom of a lengthy tooltip, it said something like “… but more on that later”

I have other serious qualms with resolution and framerate, but I have yet to think to myself that I should have hit someone when I didn’t.

…which is really unexpected for a Fromsoft game with hyper sprint, quick dodges, quad-jumping and air dashing while shooting guns when they historically couldn’t do that in a much simpler combat environment.

B33mo

Are you playing it? I’m actually hitting people when my weapon hits them, I’ve never experienced that before in a fromsoft game
