Well, I used the form from YourDigitalRights.org in my initial mail to them. So I think they do require me to hand out a copy of my ID to continue processing the GDPR request. Not sure if that’s illegal or not.

silent.link is a good suggestion already for a phone number provider. As for a VPN, Mullvad or OVPN are decent (although I like Windscribe as well).
