And driving affects your ability to walk.
My analogy is still closer imo. An Uber is like hiring an engineer to do the work, using the LLM directly is like driving. You still need to steer and navigate, but now you get to do it faster and can carry more, at a higher energy cost
BOBOnobobo
Why not?
BOBOnobobo
I mean I agree on that. I use public transport most of the time, but the argument that ai is useless falls in the same category as cars being useless.
It's a powerful tool with a high environmental impact, but it can speed up a process significantly.
BOBOnobobo
Wow, I'm glad Mr non electrician here figured out the issues with a fast charging battery for those silly engineers and scientists working at the largest EV company in the world!
BOBOnobobo
"Cars are a crutch for the mediocre, who have a deep-seeded hate, born out of jealousy and feelings of inadequacy, against people with actual passion, drive and knowledge. That's why they do not only drive, they also feel the need to insult and mock people with real skills and experience"
That's basically your argument
BOBOnobobo
Fucking dead internet in here with 4 people replying the same thing...
BOBOnobobo
Crazy vendetta you got against Helis dude. Why are you shocked a cheap rocket launcher doesn't immediately take down a Heli?
BOBOnobobo
Lmao I bet you think the Heli just stays in the air while you aim.
BOBOnobobo
Cool, now find where I said third tone.
Who's reading skill is bad now?
BOBOnobobo
Aren't you running out of tokens already? Or do you text like an LLM for the love of the game?
BOBOnobobo
Keep being mad, maybe the Devs will take pity on you and add an easy mode
BOBOnobobo
I know more than you apparently. Go away and learn to play
BOBOnobobo
Yep, just like I thought: you actually have no clue what you are talking about.
You get two tones from a missile: the first beeping on and off sound, that's just because someone is looking at you from a talon/Verba, the second, a continuous beep when they have locked on you AND when a missile is heading towards you.
You also don't need to go down to the ground. If there's a tower or building in-between you, the lock gets lost.
Which is what is probably happening when you are delivering to a fob.
You complain about the game but you don't even know how to play!
BOBOnobobo
I bet nobody usually shoots after you, you just hear the lock and then you are just moving behind some cover and they loose the lock.
Are you actually looking around to see the missile? Because I can guarantee you that they will hit if you don't flare. Maybe once in a dozen missiles they don't hit.
Which just proves that you don't know what you're talking about
BOBOnobobo
Fuck off man, I've read your comment and it's shallower than a stream of piss.
Verbas are already dead easy, and there are so many counters.
Just because the Devs caved to the incompetent people running around brainless, doesn't mean you're right.
Fuck it, the Devs already admitted they fucked up in other parts.
BOBOnobobo
I do a lot of transport Heli and honestly most people don't know shit about using a talon or verba.
Plus they are a bit bigger at the moment and I have been locked on when below 30m which shouldn't happen.
BOBOnobobo
Wild amount of words to say that even if there's counters, players should just have even easier ones.
I won't argue anymore, but between the ciwis, the new AA tank, all the tanks, all the snipers, the MAAWS (and rocket launchers that you can use for any Heli going below radar), the Talon, the new machine gun that chews through LBs and Verbas, if your team keeps dying to a pilot that's just a very very good player.
Imagine if I said I need an easy counter to good assault troops just because I can be arsed to carry a decent rifle.
BOBOnobobo
If you only ever play assault in the hot zone, I get it.
But this is why your bob the builders matter and what the fobs do. They let you have incredibly good AA.
And what do you mean about bigger incentive. I've made bank with Verbas last season and I keep making money from just spotting Helis. I even managed to snipe pilots in the Heli.
Sadly a lot of players can't seem to adapt. They keep buying the same "op gun" and then are shocked when they lose because the enemy does something different.
BOBOnobobo
That + have the free time to do so.
One of the reasons modern society advanced so much, in my opinion, is that we have been teaching more people than ever about science. Like, it used to be a niche thing for rich people, now a good chunk of the world is in stem
BOBOnobobo
This is basically where Helis are at. It's easy to say the mini gun and rocket Helis are overpowered but realistically the learning curve to be any good with them is such a high ceiling it makes sense to be op.
Like, it's not easy to aim when the vehicle heads towards the very direction you aim at.
BOBOnobobo
I'm not sure if you can switch between them that easily, at the very least the topology will be fucked.
I wish blender had better tools for precision.
BOBOnobobo
Yeah, but these are very low effort posts.
Idk how to feel about them, because the sub is pretty empty at the moment
BOBOnobobo
Literally just look up tutorials.
I've also used blender a lot before using free cad. It's not that hard to learn, but you can't do a lot of blender stuff.
Cad is all about extruding and booleans. No adding vertices and shrinking etc. you also start everything with a sketch
BOBOnobobo
I think the Devs noticed that high level players that grinded the game and got the big stuff we're dominating the game, and people were not countering them properly.
This really is basically about the havoc and rocket heli. To many people complained about them rather than trying to adapt (gamer moment) and now the Devs nerfed them as much as possible. Really, they should have just added a cool down on something like the havoc and that would have been it.
It's almost as if the people running data centers have hired engineers to figure out the optimal setup when spending billions...
