Yeah I'm missing nearly all the "do UTTU in under 75 exposure" achieves either because I wasn't around for them or didn't understand the mode well enough to build the right team and earn it.

If I were to go by this guide it's pretty close. So it could be up to preference.
From what I've seen of Narcissus' kit I prefer to use J (plus I already have him p1) but I don't think there's anything wrong with her setup either.
BasroilII
Not that she's worthless, she's just not meta.
She's very clearly built for Bloodtithe and is its only real dedicated sustain. But she's also in terms of design a very traditional healer type which often suffer in "endgame" content when opposed to shielders and the like.
Cleanse and damage mitigation works better than raw healing.

So doesn't really change my plan. Get Hedone, throw a few spare pulls at Narcissus but she's not a priority.
Mind you I'm not like most here in that I really don't care about the 4.0 limited. I know, it's weird, I'm sure they are very powerful, but it just feels like a weird choice to me and I wish we got something else. So I'm not saving a ton of pulls for that one and can afford to blow a few in 3.9.

To be fair stupid people that didn't understand it was sarcasm did.
BasroilII
A lot of those were direct to video, and the rest should have been.

Ragnarok was a fun Marvel-ish comedy movie and an absolute dogshit Thor movie. Mind you, Dark World was just a dogshit Thor movie, so I guess it was an improvement. But the first one was perfect. They made it feel like a myth coming to life, and that was the vibe Thor needed.

TFA wasn't great, but it could have been built upon.
Each successive movie was like "Fuck that last one, I'm gonna do my own thing and make it better".
Oh hey look, 3 incohesive messes. Shocking.
BasroilII
That one can actually kind of make sense. Old man Weyland told David to translate what he was saying to the Engineer, but David has spent the entire movie being sketchy and creepy. I always thought that scene implied David intentionally said something to set the Engineer off and make them think killing Weyland and co was necessary.

Oh even better. The FO is a splinter group of PART of the Empire that maintained a 5th column after Endor. Cool. OK. Small Imperial Remnant fights small Alliance faction after the rest of the Alliance goes soft. I can see it work. It did in the EU back in the day.
Yet they somehow have as many or more ships (and bigger ones!) than the Empire at its prime, a Mega Star destroyer that houses its own fleet and something like a million crew, and several hundred megalaser weapons each more or less on par with a Death Star.
And we can right horses on the side of a Destroyer. Sure.

Every one of them starts somewhat in media res, but some of the games are better than others at explaining themselves.
BasroilII
Every single Bayformers movie found ways to be even worse than the last.
Honestly for "live action" Transformers I think Bumblbee is the only one worth watching and even that is only kinda.
BasroilII
It goes like this.
"Twilight had it, and Twilight made a lot of money"
"Yeah but that was like 5 years ago and a completely different genre"
"Yes but the only people that will come to this one are book nerds. We need to get housewives in. Can the Dwarves be more ripped, less fat, and take their shirts off?"
"My grandaughter likes barrel rides. I'm writing one of those into the movie."
"You know, I always thought this story needed more about all the other wizards. So we can tie in that DEEP LORE"
Writing by committee is hell.
BasroilII
TLJ did that for me. I hated it so much I have not watched RoS and will not watch any other Star Wars movie likely ever again.
BasroilII
I would say up until Jim Lee's run on X-Men in the 90s, it was one of if not the biggest and most impactful storylines in the comics.
Both movie versions were garbage. The 90s animated series was...truncated but decent.
BasroilII
Honestly I look back in time and wonder why the hell I liked the first two X-movies. I guess because they were the only ones we had.
Starting to have the same feelings about the First Class series with its sequels.
BasroilII
Like there was potential there, a sort of "What if Dinotopia was real". But they did nothing with it.
BasroilII
"Hey let's have an ID4 movie ages late and without the most important actor in it. And we kill him offscreen in a stupid way and explain it via exposition."
BasroilII
I read the original novelization for Alien a long time ago. I have it lying around here somewhere in paperback. The Engineer stuff was already part of it way back then, just not as heavily spelled out.
BasroilII
I mean the movie was literally about a dude getting the power to give anyone their wish and everyone needing to let go of those things in the end. There was no need for the possession thing.
BasroilII
You make a good point. As with all things context matters.
BasroilII
Don't forget, that the "self-made" person has no responsibility to society, their workers, or anyone else. And that any and all methods they have the ability to employ should be allowed regardless of moral or legal consideration, and anyone else that can't do the same should just suck it for being poor.
BasroilII
You're not wrong. But in a venn diagram the people that have a controversial/problematic book on display and those that do not agree with said book tends to be two very nearly separate circles.
At least with cases like Mein Kampf.

Mr. Sir.
His Nibs.
Scrungly One.
THE SLAYER.
Cuddly Wumpkins.
He Who Must Poop.
I have not seen Earth or Covenant, but I liked Prometheus and Romulus was...fine.
I think Alien as a franchise has the room to do deep interesting lore AND just have good atmospheric horror, although no one film should try to be both.
