My parents had a Webster's dictionary from the early 1900s. I remember seeing the word in it while going through it as a kid and being shocked since my parents told me it wasn't a word white people should use. The definitions were something along the lines of "refers to black people" and "someone who you see as lesser than you." All that to say that the only time I'll ever say it is while singing along to Wu-Tang, Method Man, or ODB in private.

I think that was the plot of some story I watched/read years ago and she falls in love with the guy. I don't remember anything else about it though. I want to say it was part of some horror comedy anthology or something but I'm probably wrong.

Yup. When I see it limp or see a skull on minimap I stop to see what the host does. If they keep swinging (unless it's a cap quest) I will too.

This was me with acid at one of my college jobs. I was mostly down from it but it was still kicking around in my system and I'd only had a couple hours of sleep. Luckily it wasn't a customer facing job so I could stay quiet and blame the lack of sleep.

Blubberella. It may not be the worst movie but definitely the worst I've ever seen. I genuinely couldn't stop watching because it just kept getting worse and worse. By halfway through I was watching it just to see how bad it could get.

Yup I remember seeing almost identical outfits in malls in the 90s and 00s. All that's missing is the arcade with a ddr machine.

Even Pavi Largo looked more natural.

It did make me sad to see how many haters came out of the woodworks when World came out. As someone who has played since p2nd, World addressed so many issues I had. I think they've only gotten better over the years.

I also have a similar situation. A building complex near my work I sometimes drive through has 10mph signs and 15 mph speed bumps ahead signs all the way through. What makes it more confusing is the 20mph sign near one of the entrances.

Not for speed running (I don't do it) but just for normal hunting any time I fight rathalos I grab some bright moss for those occasions where he wants to stay airborne. If I remember correctly you get like 4 or 5 uses before diminishing returns make him invulnerable to it. I always feel like a bad ass getting a slinger shot of it off in his face then hit him with TCS.

It's funnier knowing that because of the perfect dodge dual blades is easier than it has been in previous mainline games.

I would disagree with not guarding. It has saved me more than a few hits. It's just that it's veeeery situational. Mostly if you know you can't avoid a hit because you don't have time to sheathe or are sheathed and feel it would be safer to guard than superman dive. Though yes I would prefer to shoulder tackle when available. Agree that crit draw is great especially once you've got velkhanas set bonus.

Also of note is that the TCS does more damage if you don't use the slinger to skip to it. It's useful to know during larger openings like one shot binder, monsters with long stuns, or wake up hits.

Blood Will Tell

Greatsword is my main in all games Ive played but I do try out a few other weapons here and there. Then with World I started using all the weapons for at least 100 hunts. Some times you just click with certain weapons in each game. Or you find a build for a certain weapon that is really fun even if you're not great with the weapon. For example I wasn't great with bow in world but had a blast with both dragon piercer and thousand dragons builds with some monsters. With wilds I have really enjoyed every weapon even Akuma.

My first thought as well. Unholy Roller starting out with chanting "S-A-T-A-N he's our man!" like an evil cheer squad makes me giggle every time.
