Sounds like it was not a dense city just a sprawling one. Miami is the only dense city in Florida. Everything else is outside the top 50. Houston and Atlanta are big cities by population but barely have a higher population density than Tucson and have similarly problems. Northeastern cities have densify over 3000 people per square mile and much better walkability and transit than the South or West on average.

From a standpoint of nutrition it is not necessary to eat meat in America and a large portion of the world. Inflicting torture on animals for taste preferences seems just as bad as doing it for aesthetic preferences. Also these worms have a few hundred neurons and pigs have hundreds or millions of neurons.

From the channel 13 article a lot of what he is saying sounds like fan-fiction. “ When Tolkoff confronted him, the intruder slashed his neck with a floor scraper that had a four-inch blade. “He says, ‘Just let me go, I’m just a kid,’” Tolkoff told 13 News when describing the accident. “I said ‘We’re going to call the cops,’ and he says, ”No, I’ll be deported!"

Then, after trying to hit Tolkoff with a cutting board from his kitchen, the intruder and the other person with him then ran from his home.

Tolkoff told 13 News reporter Katherine Patterson he doesn’t think this was a political attack, but a symptom of a larger problem he doesn’t think will be solved anytime soon.

“I ran on public safety and unfortunately, people in Tucson didn’t want to vote for that and maybe when they become a victim of what is going on in Tucson on a regular basis, then maybe things will change here,” Tolkoff said.“

I am not saying it didn’t happen at all but I think it’s definitely embellished to fit his narrative.

It is gendered when the majority of men (55/43) voted for Trump and a majority of women for Harris (53/46). It’s just also as much a race thing when a majority of white people voted for Trump regardless of gender (55/43). This isn’t about blaming masculinity it’s just a discussion of how conservatives use identity politics and stoke fears of disempowerment from majority groups to win elections. One of Charlie Kirk’s recent posts was about how men want babies and women don’t and that’s why women are depressed.

I think there could be some value to sustained public opposition to his voting record including protests to stop him from getting re-elected. He won’t listen though.

BeatPunchmeat

If you do mail in voting in Arizona it is pretty easy to vote. I am not saying I am excited about the Democratic Party but getting involved and at least voting in local politics is more likely to make an impact. It took two minutes for me to vote in this primary and mail it.

Yeah it’s about 86 grams. I think those are both valid ideas thanks!

BeatPunchmeat

86 grams, was found by a trial near a populated area by a family member, which to me makes it seems unlikely to be meteorite but trying to help them look into it. Definitely dense not sure on magnetism I’ll check.

BeatPunchmeat

You are confusing cost or property or rent which is largely depended on the value of the location or land and goes up at least per square foot with more density and closer amenities with the per unit cost the city pays to maintain roads and other public infrastructure. The benefit is it’s less per capita demand on infrastructure for dense development over sprawled development.

I have felt this way before. I basically live to feel good and try to understand things now. It took a decent amount of therapy and drugs and to some extent books to find a way to start feeling good at all though and I understand for some people they can’t find anything to help.

BeatPunchmeat

Ah that’s good to know. I may be able to pull it off but it’s expensive enough that I definitely want to try it on before I buy it.

BeatPunchmeat

Great recommendation thanks!

BeatPunchmeat

Yeah it’s funny to dunk on but also extremely fair and logical.

BeatPunchmeat

Yeah I’ve finally come around to even non mechaquartz watches. Hi beat seconds look nice but so does normal quartz it’s just an aesthetic difference. Strongly considering a Casio Oceanus now. This watch looks at most worth 2x the actual price though lol

I know I may be the only one but I absolutely love this and I’m glad we paid this man! I agree I hope it doesn’t become distraction to development but as a heel personality he is amazing.

Was just making sure you were trying to make an egg cracking video about trans people in sports. How has a trans person playing sports affected your life in any way?

BeatPunchmeat

It’s like the least offensive cover possible. It’s not his fault some weak bonus track topped the charts but Xiu Xiu still had the best Fast Car cover.

BeatPunchmeat

Yeah this subreddit it getting pushed on me but I need to stop engaging because it is just platforming conservative ideas with a veil of rebelling against the norm.

BeatPunchmeat

Yes also a majority of people reducing their meat consumption seem to be doing it for a mix of sustainability, health and animal welfare reasons. If you aren’t only doing it for animal welfare reasons it’s much more logical to do 90% meat free or break vegetarian occasionally as it’s not an affront to a core belief. I do think most people who reduce meat or go vegetarian are mostly at least more sympathetic to animal welfare than the average person and open to encouragement.

BeatPunchmeat

Are you white? I am a white person and I think it’s really difficult to actually understand the experience of people of color in this county without experiencing it or spending time trying to learn about it. The government sanctioned racism let to the current segregation and disparities in most cities in America and POC experience casual racism constantly. Making it a big deal in current conversation isn’t about dividing us it’s just necessary to attempt to address past and current inequality. You can’t ignore white supremacy and expect it to go away when it’s a backbone of American society.

BeatPunchmeat

What is this even relevant to?
