Lol, behave. Sick days are not what's stopping people from making 30k a year. If I take sick days at a job and do not get a promotion because of it, I could upskill myself, job hop, tell them to stick their promotion up their arse, and get a new salary far passed 30k.

Most people with half a brain job hop anyway to a better salary than wait around for their little measly promotion. There are plenty of examples of people who work their asses off in the workplace and have perfect attendance records who don't get promoted, and get passed up for the person with a few sick days a year.

If you're sitting there thinking you're doing something admirable by never taking a day off when you're sick. and think you will get rewarded for it, then you are extremely naive.
