So everyone saying they are now selling on vinted…Are your photos with white backgrounds? Do you sell the same sizes? I have heard that using edited photos and very different sizing can get you flagged and banned—and if you have orders that sold and haven’t received your funds—you are SOL and lose your money and product.

I had heard they weren’t reseller friendly—which I am totally fine with!

That is quite a blanket system when you don’t know details. It is NEVER a good thing to stay in an unhealthy relationship for the “children”

Is he really tall? Does he drive/ride in a dodge charger?

I often wonder how much research these businesses do. Is there actually enough of a need for the product or service? Is it affordable to the audience who will be attracted to the product or service? Does a similar business already exist— if so can you offer the same service or product at a lower cost or higher quality?

The sellers response is absolutely uncalled for and should put the size info in bold and made sure it attracted attention. And yea it’s not that big of deal since no one can see that review.

However…Poshmark has no option for unisex sizing. So you HAVE to choose women or men when listing. You can do custom sizing—but I myself have questioned this because then do you even come up when people filter by size or search that size?

It’s a tough situation but the seller was absolutely in the wrong!

I learned my lesson too about reading listings thoroughly and asking questions—and why I almost never bid on items in live shows or ask people to rerun once I do my due diligence.

Please don’t let this deter you from Posh! For every bad seller—there are 5 good ones—we just aren’t cheating the system and doing shady things to get us front and center!

This thread doesn’t provide accurate statistics. It’s mostly sellers and lots of low integrity ones at that.

Successful sellers aren’t on here complaining about low ball offers, defending rude behavior and making excuses for scammers. They are focused on their business and providing amazing customer service and answering questions.

Every successful reseller I follow provides measurements and values customer service

Don’t forget people can say anything such as “I HaVe NeVeR PrOvIdEd MeAsUrEmEnTs and My SaLeS aRe FiNe” Since there is no way for anyone to verify, they can say whatever incorrect information they want. But more importantly….HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE IT???

Read between the lines and you can spot the scumbag sellers a mile away.

Keep providing as mush details as possible for listings, be kind and respond to potential customers—that will get you further than listening to rude, scummy sellers.

Then you’re doing it wrong. Measurements take an additional 30 seconds. Size charts aren’t helpful for used clothing….they shrink, stretch and can be altered.

Well then I suggest you get out of reselling 😆😆😆 Someone was born with a sliver spoon or forgot how there are people that $4 can make a difference. Seriously probably the DUMBEST comment I have read on a reselling thread

Because people want to see ACTUAL different “new to them” items not items that have been delisted and relisted. Ya’ll just mad you can’t be lazy anymore😆
