Yeah it will end up being weak, and probably thin in body. But that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you are shooting for. For some styles, a 1.030 OG is appropriate. When it comes time to carbonate the beer I would target something higher, like 2.8 - 3.0 volumes. Extra carbonation in a weak beer can make it more characterful.

Yeah that might be pretty good. The cider is mostly my wife's project and she typically doesn't like oak flavor. But maybe if it's subtle enough it will be great

How do I go about adding tannins to cider? I see there are many options available... For context I will be fermenting honeycrisp juice.

Throw the stinky butter at 'em!!

Your mention of sulfate:chloride ratio is backwards. Should be 1:2
Great document though!
BeefStrokinOff
Interesting, I will look into that.. Thanks!

Yes, all those things. Just get a Failed to Connect error. Could be a privacy/security issue thing

I’m aware of the http thing but in order to get to the browser step you must first connect to the iSpindel wifi, right? It’s this first step I can’t get past

That’s enough learning mistakes for Fleury
You have a very high chance of hitting 3%+
Your FG would have to be 1.007 (or lower) to hit 3% which is 76% "apparent attenuation". Most beer yeast strains are capable of this. What strain are you fermenting with? And what was your mash temperature?
