Screen guard is <1/100th of phone price. PPF is 1/20 for middle level cars.

Try Citroen Basalt. Good GC, Amazing suspension and moderately fun. Only bad thing is their service network.

BengaluruDeveloper

Hope you are driving a car upwards of 50L. Else, this is just being over protective.

Cruise Control helps in plain region, but if the road is filled with bridges and ups and downs, it actually accelerates hard to maintain the speed.

You can try maintaining 80 kmph yourself - lose 4-5 kmph on upward slope, and gain it back on downward. Then cruise again. Read about hypermiling - but don’t overdo it.

Too much to call them beggars.

Sometimes if we have a lot of time to kill at destination (before meeting client or function starts late), I cruise at 70 kmph. I may sit in AC till then with double benefit of mileage.

I don’t hog overtaking lanes, lorries at 40 kmph do that.

Let us know, 208 PRs of which 120 are pure slop PRs raised by non tech people of our company.

Try Verna Turbo Manual

BengaluruDeveloper

Sedan as of now. SUV maybe after crossing 40 as it’ll be easy to get in and out.

BengaluruDeveloper

My close friend’s Creta - 1.6L kms on odo. He fills only with Shell V Power, no complaints. I’ve driven it multiple times too.

BengaluruDeveloper

Cruise at 200 kmph! I owned a Polo TSI, comfortable cruise is at 80 kmph.

BengaluruDeveloper

I know someone with 500Cr+ net worth, comes in an Innova Crysta 99% of times.

BengaluruDeveloper

If you want a sedan, buy one. I own a Verna, and never scraped it once so far. The problem is exaggerated a bit by CSUV owners.

Covered 8000 kms so far across Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. Only thing to take care is that you may need to slow down more than other cars while over a speed breaker.

BengaluruDeveloper

Verna Turbo. Cheaper than Slavia and more powerful. Interior fit and finish are leagues ahead of Slavia and Virtus.

BengaluruDeveloper

Continental (better comfort), else Yokohama Earth (better mileage), else Apollo (cheaper)

BengaluruDeveloper

Yes, Turbo is best in Highway. Set up cruise at 80-90 kmph,am all set to 20+ kmpl in my Verna.

City is where turbo sucks!

BengaluruDeveloper

Verna Turbo - Petrol - 20+ on highways, 3-12 in city.

BengaluruDeveloper

Just buy a raised hatchback (Automatic). For city use, hatchback is the best. Easy to navigate, easy to park. Even if some scratches happen, you won’t worry much.

Look for something like Punch or SPresso, preferably CNG. You don’t need performance, but city crawl.

BengaluruDeveloper

Verna Turbo MT

City : Bengaluru

Mileage : 3-11 kmpl in city. 20+ in highway (at 90 kmph).

BengaluruDeveloper

If driving a Turbo, follow 1 minute rule. Idle for 1-2 mins before starting and before turning off engine.

Some say it is not needed for new cars, but it surely helps in turbo longevity.

BengaluruDeveloper

Verna for me! Uses same engine as Creta so maintenance would be same as it. There are a million Creta in India, and personally have seen some Creta with 1.5L+ kms without any issue.

Performance is amazing for its price. Can win a drag race with all cars under 30L.

It’s our new car, and yet to build amazing memories with it.

BengaluruDeveloper

Etios cab 4.5L+ kms. D4D is a gem!

BengaluruDeveloper

If you’re okay with minor scratch and/or dent, use transporter.

Hire acting drivers otherwise and travel with them.

BengaluruDeveloper

Hyundai Verna

I own one, so please feel free to post any questions around it.

BengaluruDeveloper

Toyota Vellfire

Slam brakes and turn right. Try to hit tyre of container with left side of car. Since it’s filled with air, may provide some cushioning in addition to airbags. Even then, no one would likely survive at this speed.

Even if we survive this, you’d be paralysed to not live a good life thereafter. Better to die rather.
