You're asking the right question. A lot of projects THINK they are ready but aren't.

There's also just timing sometimes. I had a project with funding more or less locked in then a downturn in the oil market at the time lead to it being pulled.

One thing to consider is the emotional tone of the scene for your coverage. Always get your geography early out but everything after depends on what is happening. The breaking bad scene is very confrontational and the coverage reflects that but you might want to cover a romantic scene or a comedic scene a little differently.

My lukewarm advice is to actually shoot the scene with your director and some volunteers. Edit it and see if your coverage works. I find there is a choreography you have to get with the camera and edit when your actors are largely static.

Dear god, please take two seconds to browse the sub before posting. Steam is down

No. Xbox cut it because they have to license games for Gamepass. If you've ever worked in any kind of licensing it's expensive.

Nvidia is selling compute. They more or less own the vertical for the most expensive component in that chain. Generally compute prices are trending downward (and likely to crash lower if the bubble pops). So I doubt Nvidia has any reason to cut hours

Switch to using the epic app to authenticate. I had the same issue

I hope Cali does the same thing as NY.

Even for a horror movie/low light. Start with the basics. Get all 3 points on your subject and shape from there. Your first job is to make sure the audience can see what is important (in most cases faces)

I support a driver and a team separately and got lucky that they ended up the same for a bit. Started a McLaren fan in the Hakkinen era (I watched before but didn't really get hardcore into it till then) and then Raikonnen was my fave for a bit. Became a massive Hamilton fan when there was buzz about him (the lower series were hard to watch). Remained both a McLaren and Hamilton fan ever since.

Get off of this asap. I posted about this experience a while back. iCloud was fine for a couple years then went bonkers. Big up backups for saving me. I just moved to obsidian sync after

Bertitude

This hurt to read :(

DC Studios is an actual entity that has legal ties to the projects that carry that branding. Similarly STAS and others carry branding for the overarching entity for the time those were produced in.

edit: For clarity. HBOMAX is a separate entity licensing these properties for streaming so they projects don't carry that branding (except in the case where they the explicit producer)

Starting out the hardware issue were not insignificant. Creasing, hinges, longevity, element resistance. All have been big question marks or just have taken time to improve.

Second one (for me specifically) was the form factor of the fold. I don't like the long fold and didn't care much for the "flip" phone but having held the Z-Fold 8 in my hand... yea this is kinda it for me.

Lastly is the UX. Android has not been the best platform when it comes to any experience but when you are dealing with two layouts... *sigh*. I'm waiting to actually play with the Duo (already played with the ZF8) to see what that is like.

(Also like the post below, I too want a "Pro" version with the Lidar stuff in it for work reasons.

He's not wrong. I for one was waiting on the tech to mature a bit. I think if we're not there we're almost there

Bertitude

Getting it but probably early next year. $300 is definitely my personal limit for this kind of device.

To make a slight clarification to your point. For TV, it's best to write a draft based in an existing series because 9/10 you're looking to get staffed. Reason being is that most shows staffing a room are looking for people who understand the tone of a show and can retain that consistency while still writing a good story.

Getting to develop an original show right off the bat is not very likely BUT the advice is to have done it as part of your samples at the very least. Always have something original in the chamber

For film it's a mixed bag, right now IMO it's best to just get something made and keep working at your other ideas. If you're good and can navigate the space you'll get in touch with the right people.

This. For any shortcomings on the ATV FireTV devices are a miserable user experience. Awful interface, poor memory management, entirely moving my family away from them

Bertitude

Curious, does game mode on yours do frame gen or smooth motion? Mine just stays in Game mode without much difference beyond the reduced latency

Bertitude

Damn Apple might pry $600 from me. This is what I'm looking for to replace an echo show (the $600 includes an updated AppleTV)

This is amazing work

Human error has always affected sport including F1. I think we need to relax.

Bertitude

Why do you think the demand is low?

We have a trust gap with banking here and as both average person and business owner I understand why. The regulators do next to nothing to protect the consumers and the banks largely have been providing substandard service... that is if you can get an account open. People are traumatized

Bertitude

I didn't like it either could be a million reasons for it.

Not the stats in the GFN, check something like activity monitor to see what is happening on your machine. What you're showing so far is pointing at a local issue that the app might not flag.

Bertitude

Check your device stats (CPU usage etc) usually you can see the choke point there. My guess would be around the decoding.
