Piggy backing off of this point, I’ve seen the person with the jacket and the stickers on their car would lead you to think the exact OPPOSITE of what they sport on their jackets. Makes me wonder if this is some “edgelord who never grew out of their dark humor phase” thing.

First thing I always do if I get a letter that I’m not sure about is look up any addresses or phone numbers in it. That phone number comes up as possible scam. It would also be really weird for the federal government to want you to send money to a state government.

The first time I went to temple at core there was a girl in nothing but pasties and shorts, and I’ve never seen anyone get kicked out so 🤷‍♀️

I will say I’ve lived here so long I may as well be from here, and after a while you kinda get used to seeing a lot of the homeless people and most of them aren’t really all that bad 🤷‍♀️ just people who fell into bad situations, maybe off their meds, and cope with harmful substances. Of course with new waves of street drugs, things do get scarier but I used to walk downtown as a teenager with my friends and they never made us feel terribly unsafe.

I don’t know if you’re looking for a park to walk/ run or just hang out but I’ve started going to pellissippi’s hardin valley campus and I hang out there on the weekends. They have a super cute pond with a walking trail that loops around it, and the pond is LOADED with geese so as long as you can deal with them it’s a nice little spot. They don’t seem to be aggressive either, I watched someone walk really close to them the other day and they didn’t react.

Also, maybe I was just being a dumb naive young person but the price on their site is not the real price. Add $100 to whatever shows online cause that’s not including the utilities. Also washer dryer is NOT included but there are machines down in the laundromat that are only $2 a piece.

I live in Goldelm, it’s so annoying and overpriced. Most of the time amenities are broken, if you’re a gym person forget it, I swear our water is off at least twice a month anymore, and you have to fight for your life for parking. Anymore I have to park at the next building over because everything in front of my building is full.
