LP2 in Deutschland soll eher nicht funktionieren, fast egal welches Netz, soweit ich weiß
Big-Reporter331
u/joelightphone Thank you very much for the update. The weather app in particular is so important to me, but I do have a few small suggestions for improvements to the sailing/surfing section: the option to choose km/h or knots for wind speed (Open Meteo can deliver knots ;-)) , and it would be great if the hourly forecast also showed wind strength and direction.

finally it works :-) - there where mistakes in my xml feeds, thank you for the help

yes, several, each time i tried to start play the player crashes
Big-Reporter331
Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me. I can create the podcast, but the podcast player crashes every time I try to play the feed. Did it work for you?

Freetel Mode Retro 2 is probably the best shot, not such a high quality like Shap, Kyocera and co., but close..

I tried a F21pro out with t-mobile here in gemany - worked fine, the missing of band 20 made no big problems, good coverige over all.. great size in my opinion...
Big-Reporter331
Great to hear, i'll try a other model then. Thanks a lot
Big-Reporter331
hi, how are your slow time experiences with the phone?
I had one here in germany to test, unfortunately there were always phone dropouts, maybe the microphone had a loose contact. Any problems when making calls?

thx

and do you mind the bigger battery of the sunbeam f1 could fit? https://sunbeamwireless.com/product/battery-for-f1-phone-2/
Big-Reporter331
@jbriones95 What exactly means "a cousin of the sunbeam f1"? is it a licensed build, have you any informations?
I've always wanted a Sunbeam device here in Europe, so maybe the perfect choice, especially if Signal can run on it.
From what I heard in the video, the quality is good, right? Here in Europe there are otherwise many phones for seniors with more or less major weaknesses.
I am very happy about this product introduction, thank you very much.

maybe the sonim xp3plus, with degoogled android there should be no limitation in terms of contacts numbers - 25000 is the limit in google accounts... you can ask the sonim support, they should know
Big-Reporter331
Sonim xp3 plus would be a good choice. A little pricey, but very good battery life, no app store, decent camera, build quality beyond reproach, a little clunky though. You can disable the browser via ADB, I love mine...

i understand. i think there are quite a few limitations regarding sim contacts: number of contacts, number of phone numbers, no additional information... unfortunately not practical for my business contacts.
but really a nice and simple design, both hardware and software, have fun with it
eSIM already works great for me...
