To be Dolby is No1 in general terms.

IMAX can beat it in the odd occasion 70mm prints are available.

Them I'd go IMAX Dual Lazer.

Then iSense

Then the rest. Honestly the others are better than big standard projection, but don't stand up to those 4.

Like, everyone!

Go back and read the reviews. Campaign was "mid, at best" and the game was saved by MP.

Over time people realised that the campaign was actually quite good and not everything had to be a CoD Michael Bay explosion extravaganza.

Every BF since 2 has had it's vocal minority of naysayers. It's just that nowadays far more players are online so the few hundred/thousand professional complainers now look like an army, when in fact its still probably like 5% of the playerbase.

I'm not saying only 5% of the playerbase have issues with aspects of the games, just the "everything is shit & this game is dead" lot.

I'm an OG Battledad right from 1942, and BF6 is the most fun I've had in a BF game since BF1. Not my favourite, but nowhere near being my least favourite.

BillyFatStax

Both 5* films.

Alien, however, is probably my favourite film of all time. I really do think it's genuinely perfect.

My No1 fan pick was Henry Cavill but with COVID delaying the release of no time to die, followed by the extended hiatus whilst the broccoli's were selling Bond to the highest bidder, that ship has sailed.

My next 2 picks don't seem to even be in the running anymore. As I've not heard their names mentioned much lately, but I'd have preferred someone like Jack O'Connell or Aaron Taylor Johnson (even though I was pretty down on that idea when his name first popped up, after seeing him in 28yrs Later I've warmed to the idea).

Regardless, I'm not going to act like I give enough of a damn to be upset at whoever they end up casting, I remember all the whining when Craig was cast and looks how that turned out.

It's The Odyssey for me so far.

28yrs later: The Bone Temple was phenomenal too.

Biggest surprise for me so far this year was Resident Evil. Mad Max Fury Road meets The Thing. I had an absolute blast with it.

I missed out on Digger. Just did not have the spare time to see it these last couple weeks. I've spotted a 2pm screening on Sunday at a very expensive cinema a few miles away and whilst I don't like spending as much on a single ticket as I do on an entire month of Odeon Limitless... I kinda feel like I owe Cruise the money for being a champion of the cinematic experience. He's earned a lot of good will from me since covid.

Yeah the gigs & tours link sent me into a queue for the general sale page.

They fucked the job!

Mrs went through the venue link, luckily so we're sorted.

BillyFatStax

There's still general sale, don't despair!

BillyFatStax

Yeah but I REAAAAAALLY wanna play Wardogs!

BillyFatStax

Either a partitioned m.2 SSD or booting the 2nd OS via a SATA drive plugged into the usb 3.0 drive?

It's technically doable.

BillyFatStax

Imagine how great this project will be once we're able to dual boot.

Game doesn't support Linux? Boot Windows.

Game runs like shit on windows? Boot Linux.

My fingers are crossed & I'm tempted to start holding my breath.

BillyFatStax

Mine started doing this just last week... After hours of troubleshooting I found this advice on Thursday and the PS5 has been running fine since.

Weird!

BillyFatStax

I absolutely loved it.

This is why I'm going to use CachyOS.

I want to use Bazzite, because I've been out of the PC ecosystem for almost 20yrs, so I'm basically computer illiterate these days, so the "plug & play" aspect of Bazzite is the most appealing distro to me. But with the BC250 being relatively low/mid specs, VRR is FAR too important a feature to not have.

I'm shocked the Bazzite team don't think it's worth fixing. As a PS5 player, it's been an absolute game changer! Any game running at 40fps+ in VRR looks & feels SIGNIFICANTLY better than 30fps.

BillyFatStax

Just tried to buy it and it's back up to £219 😔

BillyFatStax

It's a great 3rd person shooter. It just wasn't "Max Payne".

I still enjoyed it, gameplay wise, I just disliked the lack of consistency with the tone set up in Remedy's first two games.

God damn, the physics of diving around were just hilariously brutal.

BillyFatStax

The addition of BFBC2: Vietnam is exactly why BFBC2 it's my favourite of the series. Throw a 10/10 expansion onto a 10/10 base game and you have the best playlist of maps in BF history, imo.

One of the greatest expansion packs of all time.

BillyFatStax

I like the idea of anti reflective coating, but I can stand protectors with black edges.

BillyFatStax

40yo Battledad here. Been at it through all the ups & downs.

Only BF game I never played was 2142 (pc died so I moved to 360).

BTW, I love BF6.

Favourite: BFBC2

Best: BF1

Underrated: BF Vietnam

BillyFatStax

Aw crap, why not?

BillyFatStax

As I summed it up, Mad Max Fury Road meets The Thing.

BillyFatStax

Just jumped up to £20.59 and, unsurprisingly, they're in stock!

What are the odds!?!
