A lot of people liked both Lando and/or Oscar so it felt like their preferred driver was being treated unfairly. Comparatively, a significantly larger number of people want Kimi to win it because of how young he is, while also not liking George because they see him as somewhat of a diva/Karen (one of the most succinct comparisons I saw as "George gives politician energy"). Also, Toto has memed himself into endearing, whereas nobody has ever really liked Zac. I think we'd hear a lot more about the lack of fairness if George were more liked and/or Toto was more disliked.
