That "Boo" decal is very cute!

BleedingUranium

(If any KC Wiki people are around this sub, thanks for all that you do!)

BleedingUranium

This is a very nice QoL improvement! :)

BleedingUranium

WHAT. Hell yeah! Super cool to see this in WT, I absolute need it hahaha

BleedingUranium

Very cool! If we're stuck with exclusives, this is the best way to handle them. :)

That German dark-green-and-darker-green splinter camo is possibly my all-time favourite camo too!

Hmm, it seems Maryland might become a GE vehicle soon? At least on Xbox, if you look at her in the tech tree she's still listed as a pack, but greyed out and you can't buy her. If you go to the premium pack section, she's listed normally and you can.

But interestingly, if she's on your wishlist she's listed for GE, and does get the current 50% discount (4365) despite not having the little 50% tag... but sadly it doesn't let you buy her. :'(

I did manage to pick up a few others this sale though, the Bf 109 T-2, DB-LK, and Tade. :)

They’re essentially duelist weapons and struggle vs multiple enemies. The cost of the mag is also an equalizer.

Precisely this. Nerfing the thing which lets them move outside their intended role (larger mags, multiple enemies) is very much the correct balance lever to use.

This answer has definitely reinforced my confidence in the weapon balance team, they've been making excellent calls with BF6. :)

If you choose to matchmake through Custom Search

Oh good, I was worried it might be removed. So long as Custom Search is still here, there's nothing really wrong with adding a server browser as an additional option. :)

we’ve looked at nerfing the extended mags on the SCW-10 and KV9 and also buffing some underused attachments available across many weapons.

Excellent! Sounds like you guys are adjusting the correct things. :D

We are investigating adding the new two-seater jets to additional maps, but there are some technical performance and game balance issues we need to address first.

Hopefully we'll see the F-18 on Area 51! :3

Oftentimes, when enemies are left with single-digit HP, it is the result of multiple limb-hits. Landing more shots center-mass or leveraging attachments that increase headshot damage can reduce the frequency of this occurring.

Meaning "skill issue", yep lol xD

Super happy to see the grapple location issue fixed, along with the freezing! Lots of great fixes and such otherwise here too :)

BleedingUranium

in terms of the speed you can kill things in the overworld

...they all work fine and it's personal preference, just use whichever characters appeal to you or are fun. Because that's what actually matters for the overworld (95%+ of the game).

Worrying this much about stats/efficiency/"meta" in an open-world, story-based, singleplayer RPG is itself an incredibly silly mindset.

BleedingUranium

"Exploration" in this context naturally means "everything related to the map and physical world". Every single new map area added and everything on it, including things as simple as beautiful scenery. Just... being in the world of Teyvat, which is most of the game (as opposed to side modes).

even if not as important no damage.

Funny you should say this, as she's my main team's Physical DPS brawler sort of character. Quite handy when my two "main" characters are both archers.

Personal taste is personal, but I'm pretty happy with the cosmetic options we have. I just wish there was some sort of pity system for the free banner, as even after a year there are a few things I really want but haven't gotten yet.

BleedingUranium

As I already said right here in this very comment thread, there's far more to the game than "meta" endgame content. Most of the game, in fact.

they do basically nothing for your team aside from

Their only utility is

She's actually my main team's Physical DPS character (with occasional Swirl if useful).

My absolute go-to is Amber×Fischl with Overloaded, but for the times I need a brawler, manekina is super handy. (Lumine's there for story and crowd control with her utterly indispensable elemental skill.)

They're locked to the same element as the Traveler

This is a fair complaint, and I wish they weren't. We really need all the manekin restrictions lifted: Any weapon type, any element, using them anywhere, and using both together.

That said, mine would personally remain sword and anemo (I love the double anemo buffs), though hydro is also tempting.

Plus on the standard/F2P ode, there are also no 5 star outfits

and you need to use at least a duplicate cosmetic of the same rarity to actually craft the cosmetic you want after pulling the blueprint.

I've never wanted to pull for any of the 5-stars, so that works fine for me. I think most of my favourite things are 3-stars, 2-stars, and a few 4-stars. :P

Materials aren't really an issue in my experience; between the free banner dupes and the super-easy-to-complete battlepass you should have enough for everything that you actually want to use.

My only major complaint with the system is the combo of there being no way to pay for the free banner (can't pull any faster than the fixed max rate) in combo with no rate-up or pity for particular things you way want.

It took me quite a few months to get my "most important" free banner stuff, and after a year there's still a couple things (two eye colours, and a more recent 4-star hair) I really want but don't have yet. :(

BleedingUranium

"Endgame" (Abyss/Theatre/Onslaught) is just another little corner of the game, like Wonderland, Teapot, and TCG.

They're all niche modes for people who find them interesting, and/or something to keep people occupied between "actual" content additions (story and exploration), so that they're constantly playing. And, especially in the case of the endgame trio, also exist to encourage spending more (pulling for cons, pulling for "meta" in general).

The manekins can be used in everything except the endgame trio, which content wise leaves you with... hundreds and hundreds of hours of gameplay.

My manekina has been part of my main team for the past year, and is who I usually run around as. (Unless story content, then it's Lumine)

BleedingUranium

Cannot be used in domains.

You can't use them in the endgame modes (Abyss/Theatre/Onslaught), but you can definitely use them in domains. :)

BleedingUranium

Nice! More decals is always good! :D

BleedingUranium

Playing an entirely different game doesn't get me a customizable Genshin character, nor outfits for them. :P

BleedingUranium

i doubt things will fully fail

It might. What I've been hoping for is something along the lines of Genshin Impact: Days of Future Past, with this plan going so badly wrong that Traveler has to go back in time to prevent it (or rather, prevent a series of events which lead to this).

Maybe the upcoming Khaenri'ah chapter isn't some new version of the nation, but Traveler going back to the Cataclysm and changing history.

BleedingUranium

For what it's worth, some of us just aren't there yet. I've been playing for over two years, but I'm 100%-ing my way through the game as it were, and I'm still between the forest and desert in Sumeru. (I also haven't progressed the story in a few months as I haven't had the time.)

But yeah, completion percentages progressively drop off the further you get through things. I wish I was at home so I could check the Xbox achievement percentages, but the numbers are always low like this (across all video games, especially free to play).

Edit: Some Xbox achievement percentages, as of right now. Here's obtaining each element:

  • light up Mondstadt map (excl Dragonspine) - 27.53%

  • obtain Geo - 23.58%

  • obtain Electro - 13.76%

  • obtain Dendro - 15.65%

  • obtain Hydro - 12.26%

  • obtain Pyro - 6.00%

  • obtain Cryo - (...they seem to have forgotten to add it)

Some other interesting tidbits, including side quests with a higher percentage than Abyss 12:

  • Spiral Abyss Floor 4 / 8 / 12 - 17.69% / 11.61% / 4.12%

  • heart-shaped rock - 5.69%

  • Kamuijima Cannon treasure - 7.10%

  • Varuna Gatha - 7.38%

  • Golden Slumber - 7.24%

  • Ann of the Narzissenkreuz - 7.49%

  • underwater gramophone - 4.81%

  • The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes - 5.55%

  • The Shoemaker's Children Go Barefoot - 4.13%

Lowest percentage goes to:

  • Hanayama Kaoru's gift - 0.75%
BleedingUranium

If this means 20% of all Genshin accounts ever, then that's an insanely impressive percentage.

If it's 20% of all accounts which have accessed MW even just once, it's still not remotely bad, considering how massively popular (and free to play) Genshin is.

Most video games see percentages of, like, 1-3% for these sorts of things.

BleedingUranium

They even have sniper rifles, which regular MP bots can't use... :|

BleedingUranium

I feel like I've heard these, but I could be mixing them up with the weather lines.

I'm surprised the food lines don't play when they eat (out of combat).

BleedingUranium

Even further back too; the original is BF4's Unica 6 reload.

If you're on Youtube you can use the > and < keys to frame-by-frame, it's much better for this sort of thing than just slowing it down.
