Well, Qualcomm dropped the ball so severely it created a crater.
This has got to be worse than the dumpster fire that was the 20nm 810, since TSMC planar 20nm was known to be very bad.
This is several times worse. The E-Cores are a huge downgrade and the P-cores didn't improve whatsoever.
How it even passed QC is beyond me, but I think they just rushed everything.
With better node, better yields and better design, the Exynos 2700 will obliterate that chip.
BlueSwordM
Considering their aunt is in their late 80s today, I don't think it could be Thalidomide.
BlueSwordM
Actually, A100s are a lot more efficient than 3090s.
BlueSwordM
XRing is the strongest overall out of the Android SOCs, but it's realistically only available on 2 phones right.
BlueSwordM
Much smarter than using the 8 Elite Gen 6 at least lmao.
Much better to use better older chips than that dumpster fire.
BlueSwordM
You can definitely buy Realme phones with 512GB of storage just fine.
However, with the NAND storage and RAM pricing explosions, good luck buying newly released phones without paying a LOT of money.

Wine still contains a decent bit of ethanol, so no free lunch.
Drink as little alcohol as you can.
BlueSwordM
Not only does ethanol have quite a bit of energy by itself, the fact that it occupies a very large part of liver processing time means anything else, as others have said, gets deprioritized and your metabolism gets less efficient at using fat for energy.
It also makes impulses a lot harder to control and makes recovery absolute trash, which will also hurt fat burning and muscle building/maintenance.
Ethanol is just toxic.
BlueSwordM
Oh my god, I know exactly who you're talking about! That specific creator who's always toxically positive and always omits how insanely calorie dense their recipes are.
I think you'll know exactly whom I'm talking about: "75g protein chocolate granola...", "42g of protein without protein powder...", etc.
So yeah, my main gripe is how they never post nutritional information because that would probably crater their adoption, or force them to be truly innovative when it comes to their recipes, which is a lot harder to do.
BlueSwordM
As I said somewhere else, this is WORSE than the 810.
At least TSMC 20nm planar was known to be bad, but N2/N2P are great nodes as seen by Zen 6/Apple's CPU designs.
BlueSwordM
Holy shit, Qualcomm fumbled BAD.
This has got to be worse than the dumpster fire that was the 20nm 810, since TSMC planar 20nm was known to be very bad.
This is several times worse.
BlueSwordM
Yeah, all the new techniques "Open"AI implemented to improve model performance tanked speeds, which is good because compute is usually cheaper than memory, but that came at a cost.
BlueSwordM
Well, you can even do it yourself!
Use Shizuku, combine it with Canta, Hail.
Combine it with network blocks and see what you can extract from your phone's performance as much as possible.
BlueSwordM
Those Sandy Bridge chips will be very slow for running any model.
If you could get Haswell or Broadwell running, it'd be worth it, but Sandy Bridge? Yeah, nope.
Now, if you could buy this and shove the RAM into a Haswell system, that would make it a lot more interesting since you'd gain AVX2.
BlueSwordM
Yes, but I've only tested daala-cdef, but since CDEF is disabled anyway in the grain tune, it doesn't matter.
For the other options, you're in unknown territory.
BlueSwordM
Honestly, that would be a nice improvement.
BlueSwordM
Actually, it's the opposite. 0% is a lot better than full 100%, but this assumes no self-discharge.
Ideal therefore is around 10-60% for storage.
BlueSwordM
Replace the thermal paste with a new high quality one (Arctic MX7, Geek TC6530) or even a PCM pad like PTM7950 for maximum thermal performance. If there are any thermal pads, replace them with high quality thermal pads.
Change the battery to a new one.
Install a Linux distro like CachyOS.
BlueSwordM
Matching reference SSIMU2 is not a great thing though, since reference ssimu2 actually uses an inferior blur approximation.
BlueSwordM
Huh? Ever since energy densities have been climbing up on high battery capacity CN phones, charging speeds have been going down.
It makes sense: with a much larger battery, prioritizing better battery lifetime, cycle life and efficiency is much more easily justified.
It also doesn't help that a thicker cathode obviously limits charging speeds.
BlueSwordM
Using vship-fast instead of the regular vship is not the best course of action in my opinion.
We tested it. By we, I mean a friend of mine, and it seems like the scores differ significantly from vship. Like, there has to be something wrong.

If you can go buy cells in person, mpandw.ca would be happy to sell cells to save on shipping costs.
BlueSwordM
Not always, but in this case, considering how BIG the LES is, that would certainly explain the difference.
BlueSwordM
J'assume que oui. Parmi les squats que je fais personellement, je fais les Bulgarian split squat spécifiquement pour me débarasser des déséquilibres musculaires entre mes côtés.
To be fair, TSMC 20nm planar was partly to blame back then for the disaster, since every chip on it was a raging inferno, except for the Apple A8 since they had clocked the chip so low.
With N2/N2P, the blame solely lies on Qualcomm.
