BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dragon turns to the undead pilot in interest, flickering over to him, curious.

“Huh... might try that out on a few dead subjects I come across.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone nodded

“Okay... so then, who revived you, and how?”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“Speaking of being ‘Undead’ and all of that, I was curious. What actually happened to you? Y’know, to make you undead.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone tries to mask his laugh with a sigh, failing. Even Dragon chuckled.

“I’ve never understood what goes through your head, but it seems pretty fun in your mind.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone shakes his head as Dragon starts floating between the two of them.

“Why do you want to eat an owl, exactly?”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone chuckles as Willows starts blindly firing.

“Willows, pfft... calm down. It’s just sound effects. There’s no owl. It’s just for the ambience with the projector.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone chuckles, crossing his arms in front of him.

“The fact that I knew ahead of time that you’re an actual zombie makes it easier to deal with. Besides, I’ve been focused on fixing my holographic projector and kinda just started accepting whatever happens while I’m out here.”

A speaker on the projector activates, and an owls hoots started to fill the air.

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone turns to her as Dragon reappears on his shoulder, a red trident now in his hands

“Oh, hey Willows. Happy halloween.”

“...Spoopy day.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone was in the middle of the canyon, fiddling with an odd looking projector, wearing only a pair of sweatpants, fake blood and wounds littering the organic part of his body that was exposed. His cybernetic eye was programmed to be completely black.

He hummed to himself as he placed the projector down. A disco ball looking thing started hovering over the top of it.

Dragon projected himself onto Dracone’s shoulder, his colouring turned red as a pair of holographic horns protruded from his head, a spear tipped tail swaying behind him. Dracone looked at Dragon.

“Alright, do you’re thing.”

Dragon disappeared into the projector, and a couple of minutes later it came to life. Holographic gravestones, bones and fog covered the middle of the canyon. Dracone let out a triumphant laugh as he examined his work.

“Nice.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“Er... surprisingly, he’s sorta disappeared as well. Been missing for a few weeks.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“Captain Anderson just, seemingly disappears. Nobody has any idea, where, exactly, she goes. We rarely ever see her, sir.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“Oh. Uh, that, one... that might be a little difficult.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“Uh, yeah, alright. Is there anything else I can assist you with, sir?”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone paused to think.

“I, don’t believe so, sir.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone let out a sigh of relief.

“Uh, not really sir. Aside from some blues defecting to the other side, everything has been relatively calm for a while now, so to speak.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone remained still for a while, before letting out a harsh sigh.

“Yeah... okay... uh, the, supposed AI was, uh, was actually me, sir.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

A slight panic started to settle with Dracone.

“Ah... uhm... m-maybe...”

Dracone cleared his throat, shifting his weight from one foot to another as he stared straight past Leland.

“It’s, uh, a little complicated, sir.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“Alright. Aside from being a medic and melee specialist, I’m trained in computers and working with AI. Not counting whatever the project might send our way, I’m also supposed to deal with anyone coming in with some kind of cybernetic enhancement. Else this place would become a suicide hole.”

Dracone pursed his lips beneath his helmet.

“I have been trained much like those on the front lines are, against the Covenant. I bring skills to the canyon that might be required, especially if we are to ever figure out what kind of other creatures Red team has.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“I’m apart of a second UNSC project. I was sent out here to test some equipment, and am not supposed to be retrieved from this place until one of the higher ups of the project comes and retrieves me themselves.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone blinked at him.

“I don’t mean to sound disrespectful, sir, but it really isn’t your choice at the moment.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

“I’m one of blue teams medics, tasked with the physical aspect of the job, as well as the melee specialist here, sir.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone stood at attention.

“Private Jackson Dracone, sir.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone blinked at him.

“Uh, right away, sir.”

He disappeared behind the wall. A few minutes later, the gate started opening. Dracone ducked under it to meet Leland outside the base.

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone leaned over the parapet of the guard tower, looking down on Leland, curious. Dragon was grumbling in the back of his head.

“Who’s there? And I swear to god, if you’re that undead red, get lost.”

BlueTeam_MasterChief

Dracone watched him go, humming lightly to himself as he turned to head back to blue base.

“He’s a... rather interesting character indeed.”
