What are you talking about? Unless the goblins actually got inside your fort and everyone is choking on miasma, there should be no way for tantrum spirals to happen. It is so easy to fix, just don't let the stressed dwarves do burial, and yes, exile dwarves with stupid traits, I'm not sure why that shouldn't be a valid thing you have to do. Right now some dwarves are just going to suck, part of the fun of the current version is dealing with those dwarves.

That's not true, you just don't make very good prisons. Besides, you could always send them to jail, exile them,a nod execute them via marksdwarf squad (won't cause a loyalty cascade because they aren't a fort member anymore).

I don't know. I tried to a while ago and my head got exploded before I could even dodge (granted they were war-angels)

Vault! Vault! Vault!

Why can't I insult trans people, muh freeze peach ded.

Many Hindus are good people but in rural India there is a very toxic culture towards women. There's also the whole caste system thing which still is a common belief.

Am I the only one who doesn't like these alien comics? They all use the same joke, it was only funny the first time,

Usually a few would escape.

You need either a minecart transport system or multiple linked stockpiles to efficiently transport ores and fuel to the furnaces, until you get magma.

I think that's a mod, my goblin trap hall has got hundreds of goblins from the same civ in the same trap.

Bobby-B-is-daddy

I love that you can actually do this.

I don't know. Honestly it's pretty easy to work around, just do your battles above ground so there isn't miasma and most of your dwarves won't be going insane. If they start getting depressed, just don't let them bury the dead. Then, the only soon-to-insane dorfs probably have some stupid trait like "he is a nervous wreck," so I just exile them.

Stress is so broken that dwarves actually get more upset about rain than they do about being haunted by their dead child.

Bobby-B-is-daddy

Just don't. Wait until they become depressed or oblivious, and then disable corpse hauler. Otherwise, they all get to lug around corpses. The only dwarves that really go crazy have stupid traits like "he is a nervous wreck." There is one caveat: they will go insane if there is miasma, so never do large battles or store corpses underground.

The main reason the conflict is still going on is because a war broke out between Palestine and Israel, and Israel took more of Palestine's territory.

No, something that fundamentally disobeys the laws of physics can not exist in the universe, even if it was infinite, which it isn't, it is a set volume that is expanding at a rapid rate, though slower than the speed of light.

Bobby-B-is-daddy

That doesn't make any sense. A. The universe is not infinite B. Something like this would never work because the huge mass of an infinite track would start to condense and form planets.

Put me in the screenshot but redact me.

Just mess around with mine carts. Don't build anything big, the best way to learn it is by experience. I will say how to make corners. Say you want to make a track going from North to East, on the tile with the turn you'll have to designate a track moving to the North and then one on the same tile going to the East.

Pumps are easy, they take water from the Z level below them if there's a ramp or open space from where it's taking, and then they dump it on the current Z-level next to its impassable tile. I'd recommend messing around with them too, I made a few one-off forts to play around with them.

Spoilers!

So, I've made a mistake. I released hell, though that's a good thing since I wanted to make a hell colony. What I did wrong was my demon trap. I made the terrible mistake of trapping them with bridges and levers. The basic Idea was that I would dig down into the spire, past where I sealed it off, let the miner run off and close two bridges behind him, allowing me to stop or allow demons at will. The problem was that I had put all of the miners in a burrow down there, along with the levers, with the hope of making them pull it in time. What instead happened was a stone worker (who has earned the nickname 'idiot') decided he would climb down over 100 flights of stairs to personally pull the lever. All my miners died.

What makes it worse is that I never moved the mined adamantine to the main fortress, so all of it is lost until I kill the demons.

The reason everyone hates the Epic Store is because it has terrible security. Nobody wants to buy something only for them to lose their account and never have access to their games.

The galena must flow!

I liked the first series a lot, this should be good :)

I never think the fun in dwarf fortress is just surviving, unless it is a terrifying embark. I always like improving production chains and stuff like that, or engineering a convenient way to kill prisoners, it is a (slightly disturbing at times) city game after all.

Thanks for the thorough reply! I'm working on a demon trap ATM, thinking of doing some shenanigans with spikes. Right now I'm just trying to trap them in a long corridor so I can decide what to do with them later.
