and by law you have to provide copy of the warrant to the person before anything can happen. person gets to read it and verify everything is kosher.

yeah they were not offering that kind of deal if I leased. they wanted me to buy the car and never see it again. at that time, EV9's on the lot were not selling so they threw so much money at me to sign the purchase agreement.

Very glad I didn't lease my EV9. I knew I was going to keep this car when I test drove it. Plus they were offering me $15,000 off MSRP if I financed.

I tried a cutting tool on the one stuck cap I had. You have to be almost perfect with not cutting into the threads. Takes a very steady hand and knowing when to stop. If you cut the threads, it's over and you need it replaced.

Never use metal caps even if the person selling them says they will never rust and will never stick. I bought aluminum caps and within a year they were stuck onto my valves thanks to all the water that got in the threads.

I got three of them off with force but the fourth one would not budge. I had to have Discount Tire replace the stem for that tire.

Bought a set of plastic lined caps and never had a problem since.

It's hard to get it exact. As long as it's in the green then it's within specs and warranties will cover any damage from the result.

Tire rotation is a bigger factor in tire life. My parents GMC Terrain they bought new in 2016, they bought new Michelin Defender 80,000 mile warranty tires when the car had 35,000 miles on it. They rotated the tires every 5000 miles. The tires were still good when the car had 155,000 miles. I know this because they just gave the car to me and I was shocked those were still the original tires they bought in 2018.

Any spec you don't like you can pay to have them do over. You want it as close as you can to the center.

The GT model I think does have active back shocks. Which I believe will auto level if you're towing something. All other models don't have it. I'm remembering about the 2024 model. 2026 model might be different.

And alignment data is done by software update which they should have already. I remember getting my 2024 Land in May of 2024 and no shop could do an alignment. Not even the dealership I bought it from because the software update was not out for that car yet. Had to wait until early 2025 to get the alignment done.

Even with the battery replacement, it should still have the 100,000 mile battery warranty so if the new battery goes bad, they will resolve it.

The problem with the 14 speaker audio system is the subwoofer. The radio isn't pushing enough wattage to the subwoofer.

I found at low volumes, the subwoofer bass actually matches the music perfectly with a perfect mix. But if you turn it up, the bass stays the same volume while the mids and highs go up in volume which drowns out the bass.

It's like they added a limiter on the bass channel to where it can't go past a certain point no matter how high you turn it up.

Repo could mean anything. Most likely the original owner just couldn't make the payments and the bank took it back.

I bought a 2014 Kia Sorento used and it was a repo from another state. Was a great car except for the engine. 2.4 GDI Kia engines are crap and eat oil and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
