a jacket or top that goes over your sando (same colour as your skirt or just dark) goes a long way too. you don't even have to change skirt colours.

acroding to a geologist: Actual Geologist here. The Colorado River formed probably about 50 million years ago as run off from the newly formed Rockies. At the time it would have run through what is now the Grand Canyon, it would have not been surrounded by a canyon. Instead the uplift of the Colorado Plateau caused it to cut downward like a knife as the plateau rose around it, creating the Grand Canyon.
