Agreed. That inspires me to go use it on that smug condescending bastard right now. 👍💔☠️

BooneDox101

My Whiterun is unrecognizable which is what I was trying to do. I'm way beyond the lore friendly vanilla+ phase of modding Skyrim. I have no problem with it and still respect that style but I've been doing this since 2017 so I've gotten to the point of hust trying to transform my game in something else. I want someone to look at my game and say that familiar rhetorical condescending line "Is this even Skyrim anymore?". Although finding others who have similar tastes when comes to modding Skyrim is preferable. Apologies for over explaining, I'm kinda old and never really learned piece meal speak.

Most of those mods affect Whiterun and the Tundra. Forests of Skyrim is more Helgen to Falkreath to Riverwood as is Machenwald. I initially tried Mobius Belmont's Dense Nordic Forest but it unfortunately reverted the Blubbo's trees to vanilla while leaving Blubbo's lod billboards right in the middle of vanilla trees. The whole process of trouble shooting was a major pain in the ass but I finally got it back to normal and thought why don't I try break it again. Since Forests of Skyrim doesn't have it's own LOD like DNF did, I gambled that it'd be compatible and it was.

Bonus mod if you want to go really nuts. I tried Gray's Dense Forest, which normally adds a shit ton of whatever Aspen models you are running. Well the Blubbo tree it chose is one of the bigger models, almost like a Post Oak with lighter bark. It's cool to look at but aspens are normally pretty skinny so imagine thousands of new trees 5 times thicker adding to your already bursting at the seams landscapes; it's not sustainable mostly because of navmesh issues.

You can see the huge Machenwald trees right there at the end. Not as tall as Blubbo's Deity trees but appear more elder up close.

I'm not around the game right now but I knew I had pic of the button cluster where the make everyone killable button is. It's on the row above the one the cursor is pointing to. That cluster is on the back wall opposite of the forge on your left hand side if you are facing it.

I will tell you that it doesn't quite make every one killable or deactivate the essential protection and of course the guards will respawn after a certain amount of time. There are a couple mods that can help. The first mod was the only mod I could find that allowed me to kill Jarl Balgruuf. Not by eating him but by punching him in his chest and pulling his heart out. You have to use a power that comes with the mod on him. It's staggers him and removes his essential status then you interact with him like you're going to start a dialogue but you grab him instead and go through a really cool animation and HE BE REAL DEAD. The second mod stops guards from respawning.

I've got the Riverwood version running as well. You might appreciate this since you're running all the individual mods which makes me go "hell yeah!", FYI. This is kinda crazy, mad scientist, but no lag or noticeable framerate drop in a 250+ plugin load order; besides the Blubbo's Riverwood, Wigfrid's Oaks, and Kaanreyth Gildergreen, I have all of the following above BTV: City Trees 3.1, Autumn in Whiterun, Forests of Skyrim, and Whiterun Forest Borealis. They all use the BTV trees. I also have Machenwald above BTV because even though it's not a replacer and doesn't use Blubbo's models, it removes some trees, for some reason, if I place it below. The trees it does add are beautiful, huge, thicker and almost as tall as the Deity trees Blubbo's adds(except for that one in Riverwood across from the Sleeping Giant). This setup still comes in way below the latest NOTWL and it feels like I kinda built it myself; like a proud papa. Anyways thanks for the info because I am running JK's Interiors.

I've only recently discovered this insanely underrated tree replacer a little over a month ago. This is the first time I've seen someone mention it since I started modding Skyrim again in January.

I'd be lying if I said I had anything other than some loose theories on what Update 1 does. Unlike the Canticle Tree addon (update 2) which is pretty obvious; I think maybe they removed or replaced the original animation control and possibly updated or added the Reach trees fix.

I absolutely love this mod and have found myself in the middle of Lake Ilinalta panning the treeline 360 degrees while recording. I'm actually considering posting a clip showcasing the mod, something I never do. The only issue I've found that I can't overlook is the white leaf trees, that kinda look like aspens or maybe pecan trees, in Winterhold. I'm getting a ton of noise that I can see even at a distance. But other than that I'm a hardcore fan.

Yes. Being that Mythical Ages was my first weather mod back in 2017 it has a special place in my heart. So I've tried everything Mythical Ages. While that mod is great, I believe my setup is better, especially the night sky and the sun. Give it a shot. It will come down to personal taste so you have to try it before you make up your mind. Besides giving back to a sub that gave so much to me BITD, I still come here for others suggestions and personal setups that they post to get new ideas and some sparks for my own imagination to come up with new combos. I'm always looking for something new and different.

The Timelost Dwemer

Even though it doesn't say in the description, you cannot use a skill/perk tree mod that alters the smithing tree. This mod adds essential perks that you must have to enjoy 85% of the mod, including the ability to craft Dwarven parts like gears. It's an amazing mod that I enjoy thoroughly and I highly recommend it. The mod called Perks Beyond Reasonable is compatible but mods like Ordinator and Vokrii are not. https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/details/289e02a3-6ed7-432b-81ce-e2829419a441/The_Timelost_Dwemer

Awesome!

BooneDox101

Crazy, I've got NAT Tweaked as well with every graphic option disabled and I have it parked right above Azurite 3.34. The reason I tried this out because I already knew that NAT Interiors with WSU looked really good especially after some Busty Skeevers tweaking but the New LUX dropped so I decided to try it. I did drop WSU and disabled NAT Interiors. Looked better than my previous setup in Dragonsreach, JK's Interiors and all. Not one flicker. Went to the Bannered Mare and yep, standing near the big fireplace and rotating got me some quick off and on. Hopefully the patch for JK's Interiors is coming soon. The bonus I got from this was that NAT Tweaked (all graphics disabled) above Azurite 3.34 with some adjustments from CLO and the meditation power is really doing it for me. I've got several clips and I'm thinking about posting them with my graphical setup but I don't want to encourage recklessness, even though they're really good (IMO). I'm also running Clear Weathers Only so no inclement weathers. 65% of Skyrim visited and 100+ hours and unbelievably no graphical spaz out. Anyways your set up looks great as usual and I'm actually more interested in the one you posted the other day with the Believable Color. Gonna try that one next.

BooneDox101

Try one or all of these. Busty Skeevers has a shadow fix under the display section of the mod.

Try a bright weather mod like Dolomite or Aequinoctium to possibly help mask it. It might be coming from the complex material from tomato's textures; that's just a far fetched theory because I use the standalone Markarth and Dwemer Ruins along with Windhelm latest retextures with absolutely 0 issues like that. I just can't think of anything else from your incredibly small load order.

BooneDox101
BooneDox101

Any skill tree mod that changes the smithing tree like Ordinator will completely overwrite the crucial additions TLD adds to the same tree. You'll miss out on 75% of the experience. The only one I could find was Perks Beyond Reasonable.

If you want a massive challenge in the ruins download Immersive Wenches, Hateful Wenches, and Judgement Wenches. Trust me, it's crazy. The judgement Wenches are insanely hard and fun. They're Dwemer themed and drop really cool loot.

Alternate Start The Last Dwemer Since you are using Alternate Start and it's a prerequisite for this mod that fits your theme.

Dwemer Armor and Weapons Retexture ( there's 2, 1 for vanilla and the other for CC content) matches the metal retexture below both made by Xavbio

Dwemer Metal Retexture 2K

Dwemer Deep Walkers

Mihail Dwarven Automatons AIO

Revenge of the Enemies V2 adds Dwemer Knights

Dwemer Spectres adds Dwemer ghost bosses and really cool loot.

I went and checked out the descriptions of the 3 Ordinary People mods and that sounds like the ticket right there. If they require a skin mod I'd definitely use the Tempered Skin Rugged to make them even more non hot.The male smooth version is what I've used for years along with Better Male Presets for my character, so I'm assuming the rugged versions will be just as high quality. I've been modding Skyrim on console since 2017 and making the NPCs look any certain way was never in my top ten priorities for my load orders. But now that we have 15gb to play with, you better believe I'm gonna make all these plain ass women I've been seeing for years now look hot. Lol. I've graduated way beyond those vanilla+ days for a good while now and my Skyrim's been looking real good and pretty much unrecognizable, so I might as well make the people look amazing as well, and now they do. Hahaha! Ironically I'm using Pandorables with some decent UNP body, face, and skin mods and talk about a transformation... I've been missing out.

BooneDox101

What mods are you running? It would be much easier for us to help find you a solution if you posted your load order. Plus this post might be taken down per the rules. I'm sure someone will be able to help you out; I've got some ideas but they're pointless if I don't know what mods you're using and what order you have them in.

BooneDox101

This one is kinda expensive but less than pandorables and you won't be able to recognize alot of these NPCs. The key is what these skin and body mods (Tempered) will do with the replacer(Lein's). So the thumbnails in the replacer's description won't be as rugged looking as they would while using Tempered Skin.

BooneDox101

Nah. It's alright. I think I was half asleep when I typed this out. Of course these won't work like this; starting over from scratch. I'm removing this stupid list. I've got a much better working load order to go back to. Have a good one my friend.

BooneDox101

Put this below any skill tree mod you may be using because it adds several new perks to the light armor tree and sneak tree. The greatest thing is that it let's you craft invisible fists that you can add weapon enchantments to along with improving the fists at the grindstone. Get a mod called called "6 enchantments per item" and the mod Summermyst for all the amazing enchantments you can now put on your fists.

BooneDox101

Awesome! Yeah I wished I not only had skills but the permissions to make this into a bundle. And I wish that greatsword forward attack would work if you veered off a little to the left or right. The reason I use the leviathan normal attack is it will cover stationary, right, left, and back normal attacks and even though there's a couple of better normal attack movesets out there, they're in bundles like Mofumofu372 Combat Animations but the only individual move from that bundle is the badass block, quick kick and roundhouse kick bash that I linked and presume you already have. If I used the entire bundle I'd have to overwrite everything from Wolf School and those jumping spin attacks plus that tornado sprint power attack are way cooler than their counterparts from Mofumofu.

Try these out. Just put them below the ultimate dodge mod and see if you like them better than the default side step. I do, they're faster and more stylish but they only replace the side step not the roll but I prefer the default side step over the roll anyways.

Oh yeah. I saw this and looks pretty cool. I'm not sure if it's a Nemesis output animation or not because it doesn't say. If you're not able to dodge anymore or some of animations stop working then it is but safe to remove. Try it out and let me know cause I might want to get it for my next playthrough.

BooneDox101

This is my greatsword attack animation stack and long katanas or nodachis are my weapons of choice as long as they're lite and fast. Put these in this order to work properly.

This unlocks a hidden attack mechanic not used in Skyrim's final cut. https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/details/ed0381cd-3fa2-487c-acf3-c6d048dc2849/Unlock_New_2HM_attack_in_3rd_person

This is the trickiest move but can be very stylish if done correctly. It only works moving directly forward. Any diagonal movement and it will kinda jank out. If you time your trigger presses just right you can get 2 different moves. 1 lite press= left to right slash. If you time your 2nd lite press you'll follow with a Witcher style spin while twirling the sword above your head. Press too hard you go straight to the power move. https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/details/98c87eaa-76dd-456e-82fb-3a206608c1e0/Greatsword_Forward_Normal_Attack

Yes. It's really nice. I have however ended up with Riton's AIO by the same porter along with the architecture LOD for that bundle and IMO, the distance detail is better. I'm running the Septentrional landscape suite with it's own high resolution LOD. The only thing is that since I'm using Tomato's individual retextures for the the architecture the AIO doesn't cover I don't get a LOD for those cities. Still I don't want to take anything away from Shades of Skyrim. I'll probably revisit it when I finally decide to do an all graphics load order.

Also there's several Follower Dialogue Expansion mods that make the usual vanilla followers like "cough" Lydia a little more personable. There's like 5 or 6 six of these around 60MB a piece, so pretty lightweight compared to the custom ones.
