So, the eye injury itself is likely not life threatening, but I’ve found out the hard way before that because cats are so little—it only takes about 3 days of no eating to get them to go into early organ failure. And once that starts, if you want to save them you’re looking at thousands of more dollars in vet fees than if you just went early.
