The Nectocaris an extinct prehistoric animal, and it gives off similar vibes to the Anomalocaris, which has a tribute to it on Youtube. OOP likely chose the nectocaris as the image to pass on in the first place because of that

Just got reminded by another comment about the birds aren't real conspiracy theory, that's probably the second no (if birds are government drones they can't biologically be dinosaurs).

BrickRedDonut

First yes is people who thought life was like the Flintstones, first no is because there are millions of years of separation. Second yes is people who are thinking of birds (descended from dinosaurs), I'm not sure about the second no but it's probably people who argue that birds are too far removed from dinosaurs to count. EDIT: I need to stop looking at reels and actually slow down and read the titles of what I'm looking at

BrickRedDonut

Ignore this comment whoever sent the link to the meme explanation did it better than me

BrickRedDonut

Seems like one of those memes based on the idea of someone obsessing over breast milk (there are other examples of this but I don't feel comfortable describing them).

BrickRedDonut

I don't know what to comment but it's a cool story so far

BrickRedDonut

Every copy of TNO is personalized. New Granada always won in my runs before the update, and the one time I played Iberia after, they were about to win and only lost because I gave up and used console commands to see what would happen with the new content.

BrickRedDonut

I got the impression they were more technocrats than anything else. They're in favor of a command economy but that doesn't immediately mean socialist (analogous) government.

BrickRedDonut

Ooh, interesting. Seems like FIND knows now.

BrickRedDonut

This is a reference to a comic where it's the exact same thing but a human is the one introducing the fruit (oranges), and the alien becomes a fan

BrickRedDonut

Chances are the pops got moved around because of the slave trade, and the slaves revolted because the Arabian states almost always tend to do poorly

BrickRedDonut

I understand what this meme is technically saying but as a meme itself it doesn't make much sense: has anyone ever had their teacher actually do this? Probably not.

And of course Huttig has presumably done fucked up shit before 1962 anyway too

BrickRedDonut

It's mentioned during an event that soldiers hear literally nothing (but silence) during their patrols, not even wildlife, implying (Stage 3) Huttig is basically a completed genocide. If I had to make a really rough estimate out of nowhere I would say that it would be 25-60 million people left at the most.

Edit: To be clear, Huttig is going to cause some sort of genocide if there isn't total OFN victory in the war regardless

The patient is never happy and thus never drinks, explaining why his liver remains healthy. It's implying he's depressed.

BrickRedDonut

Where's r/speedoflobsters when you need them?

BrickRedDonut

William Howard Taft from 1908 here. On Instagram Reels there is a copypasta caption that begins with "Japan is turning footsteps into electricity!", and it is most likely used to encourage engagement. Anyway, the meme is implying that his wife cheated. You can vote for Bryan anytime.

BrickRedDonut

The US government has the infrastructure for a draft that can be activated if it wants to but as of this comment no one has been called yet via the draft

BrickRedDonut

Just in case for clarification I'm not saying OOP is wrong, as it's an open secret among most people in western countries by this point that this shit runs deep

BrickRedDonut

Random guy here. Long story short Jeffrey Epstein was a madman who engaged in sexual exploitation of his victims, and had connections nearly everywhere in high society. The aptly named Epstein Files which have been recently released (to an extent) are so damning that conspiracy theories once thought fringe (or at the very least too controversial to share en masse) have suddenly and arguably become acceptable to publicly believe in.

BrickRedDonut

I don't fully know what this meme is referencing but in general the "Lebron James reportedly..." memes are meant to be rookie mistakes that someone (as experienced as Lebron James is in basketball) would otherwise not make. Presumably the "TC" will be hellish to deal with without the +1 ranged armor

BrickRedDonut

Amazon (the Colombian or Venezuelan part, Amazonas seems too obvious)

BrickRedDonut

At first I only saw the faceless flood escape thumbnail then...

These memes resonated with me because I am working towards a swag science major
