University of Alabama? Roll tide!

I like shots better than tasting alcohol slowly. I don't pressure other people into doing shots with me, but I'd rather have a shot of dark liquor than a glass of wine any day.

I would ask him for moral answers on all of the things I'm conflicted about, and hope that he would give me a definite answer. Mostly I would just like to talk to him and see what he has to say about modern life and if the Bible really applies to things today. Maybe he would recite new modern commandments and I could write them down and share them with everyone else.

Maybe you should! I couldn't leave the ring in though, sadly. My skin got too irritated having the ring through again, so I had to take it back out lol.

Brooke_notBrook

I guess it depends. My belly button had been pierced for something like 5 years already when I took it out, so I guess it was already all healed (no "new skin" would close it up), but if it had only been a couple days, it would have closed up almost instantly. that actually happened to me the first time I had it done, so I had it redone later.

If you have a blender there are so many possibilities. Grab your favorite fruits and either freeze them yourself or buy some that are already frozen. Personally I like to do a banana, some peanut butter, some ice, and milk (almond milk or regular works).

My husband played "Happy" on a loop for two hours while I was napping, and I heard it the whole time. I had nightmares I couldn't wake up from. Hate that song.

I'm from Alabama. A lot of people think it is a monotonous, redneck state, but really it's pretty diverse. There are beaches, farms, lakes, at least three division one universities and several smaller ones, mountains, big cities, and miles of wilderness. You can stay in state and experience so many things that most people would not expect. Also, the people are some of the friendliest you will ever meet. Edit to add that Huntsville has the US Space and Rocket Center where you can learn about everything, and kids can go to "Space Camp" kind of like astronaut training.

This makes me cry too. Dumbo is a actually a really sad movie when you understand what is going on. It was my favorite as a kid, but now when I watch it with my son I cry every time.

Agreed. I'm working on my college degree with a toddler at home, but by the time I finish my degree, my little guy will be in preschool, so I have really lucked out with the timing of everything. I'll graduate in May 2016, have the summer to job hunt, then start my job while my little guy starts preschool in the fall.

I feel your pain. Most of my friends sell something, but I let them know I don't need or want to buy anything from any of them so they don't even bother with me any more.

My boyfriend (now husband) and I went camping with a group of friends on a piece of land one of their dads owned, and we were jolted awake at about 4-5 AM by stomping and brushing against our tent. There were about 5 horses outside our tents stamping their hooves and nuzzling our tents. We only saw their shadows and I was terrified. I had no idea there were horses on the land.

I thought the same thing. My son is 1 now.. I would say maybe I should do something crazy now, but then I'd be classified as a bad mom haha.

I would honestly donate to GoFundMe or something for that surgery once OP loses the weight. He may wanna look into the costs soon and start saving!

Brooke_notBrook

Honestly, great job OP. It takes so much self control to stick to a strict diet and make yourself exercise. I have been struggling with willpower lately. Haven't been able to exercise because of a slight back injury, and got discouraged and screwed up my diet. I am trying to get back on track though!

I've had this problem my whole life, and I swear to you it's getting better now. Know what I do? Go bra-less as often as possible. My boobs don't sag and my nipple isn't inverted any more (when they are stimulated).

Brooke_notBrook

HEY-O

Brooke_notBrook

I agree. My parents made that my graduation gift so I would have a good, reliable laptop to last me through college! It seems like it will last much longer than that! I really love it. I haven't seen anyone else with a laptop that I think I'd rather have.

Brooke_notBrook

I have a Dell XPS 15 that I got in 2011 and it is still the best laptop I've ever had. Maybe I just have low standards, though. Haha.

Brooke_notBrook

Oh I told them I wasn't doing a party, but I was stuck at that one for two hours! It stinks when you're trying to be polite and people use that against you.

Brooke_notBrook

I agree! It's gotta stop!

Brooke_notBrook

Yes! Finally someone who doesn't buy into all the home-sales products haha.

Brooke_notBrook

Exactly!

Brooke_notBrook

This sounds EXACTLY like the experience I had at a Premier Jewelry party except I wasn't as brave as you were to nope out of there.
