They aren't actually isolated though. Israel is seeing a whopping 7.5%gdp growth this year despite ongoing wars while it's Gulf Neighbours are seeing recession levels of contraction. The only isolation it's experienced are in the arts of which they were never particularly that great to begin with(and this is coming from a guy who does have an Israeli film in his all time greats). Due to their wars they can slap combat and field tested on their military wares which instantly beat out all European Wunderwaffens.

Who knows what the future has in sore for Israel, Palestine, the Middle East and heck the rest of the world. Hard to believe anyone has any solid presience for the next few years. In the first month of the war I said something that this may be good, Hamas would end up getting defanged but at the cost of more eyes on Israel and it being pressured more on its blatant land grab in the West Bank. Sadly the world does not stop for a few actors and everyone has their own agendas at play, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, The Saudis, everyone. I personally do want a thriving Palestinian state but seems further than ever.

Now as someone who is very on the right and has severe disdain at the global left I really can't thank Israel enough. I can't thank it enough for being the Aegis of leftist focus. Thanks to it practically every leftist movement in the world is plagued with Israel derangement syndrome. They have practically abandoned every agenda and ceded it to the right to focus on Israel. Due to the western lefts one track mind it's embraced Islamist who are now slowly usurping their ranks.

This by the way is all awful for Palestine. For many on not just the West but in Asia and South America the Palestinian flag is now known as the symbol of Third worldist anarchy, nihilism and barbarism. When the normie concerned of riots sees those flags waving with the back drop of their streets burning its not hard for them to know what to think. Normies can hate Israel after seeing them raze Gaza to the ground but the disdain for seeing your own city burn is far far greater. They have fueled the Patriots around the world more than any rightwinger ever could.

It'd competition was Ace Combat, Control, Fire Emblem and Onimusha. Great but niche games. Wolverine is a AAA block buster that costs more to make than all the games I mentioned put together. The question is did it recoup the cost to make it + the extensive marketing budget?

The Gears of War animations when the characters are moving in cover look absolutely amazing, genuinely the most lifelike I've seen. It looks especially cool when the cover is small and the characters are practically lying down.
