The progressions im using are from Convict Conditioning 1 and 2. Workout 1 will be Pushups, Squats, Calf Raises and Clutch Flag. Workout 2 will be Pullups, Leg Raise, Fingertips Pushups and Hangs. The book said not to do Handstand Pushups until you get to level 6 of Pushups and not to do Bridges till you get to level 6 of Leg Raises and Squats. I will do Workout 1 on Monday and Friday of 1 week and do Workout 2 on the Wednesday of that week. The next week I will do Workout 2 twice and Workout 1 once and alternate like this week to week. I will start out with 3 sets of 4 reps the first Workout and then each time I do a Workout I will add 1 rep until I get to 3 sets of 10 reps and then I will move on to the next progression.

Thanks, I have actually saw some of his short videos doing different grip exercises. Didnt really know that was his name. That guy is a beast.

Thanks. I think I've already decided against it but thanks for sharing your experience with trying it.

This is how I'm doing it also, slow and steady like you said. Im 62 and I have arthritis in my right shoulder, elbow and wrist. I just started this week at 10 6 counts and 5 navy seals. I started low on purpose and raise my 6 count 2 reps each time and the navy seals 1 time. This is to try to keep myself from getting to gung ho and causing my joints to flare up. Im also doing a pull up program with this. Doing it the same way, slow and steady. Like you said, slow and steady wins the race.....especially as you get older.

Thanks

Thanks. That is kind of what I started thinking after I wrote that. I was thinking......are you nuts thinking about doing that.

BullfrogSlight8397

Thanks. That was kind of my plan if nobody responded that they have tried this.

Do you feel like hitting each exercise once a week for 20 minutes is enough.

So on the swing days and pullup days, you just do as many of them as you can in 20 minutes. Just like you do with the burpees. Do you still do the daily pullups like recommended.

Thank you. I was already starting to lean towards not using the rings because of the reasons you mentioned about them moving around. About the second part of your answer, I had read and always thought the rings made things harder because of all the stabilization needed to use them. Thanks for the different point of view.
