Same situation for me... The thing about that progress check is once a decision was made, it would actually tell you in advance of the official response, but it wouldnt let you know the decision. IIRC when the decision is a fail on the application, that particular message isn't sent regardless, so I was atleast able to know it was very likely a pass one week in advance

Really interesting read, thanks

Yes, they are currently the largest, there's no European carriers, Nuclear or not that are larger

Bunt_smuggler

It's the same with Starmers response too, I think this is to be expected for France and the UK right now since it appears we are both leading on the Trump negotiation side, it's still beneficial for Ukraine to atleast attempt to squeeze out diplomatic compromise until that fizzles out and take the plunge into this mad new world. It's like keep your enemy close situation, I dunno.

Bunt_smuggler

I read that Norways is spread over the year, is this one from Starmer a one off package?

Bunt_smuggler

I think this is true, I'm not sure if this is because I've been spending too much time on reddit but it feels even here in the UK ties to Europe just feel that little bit more important now.

There's an app called park4night that some people use to sleep in their vans/cars, it's quite popular with lots of spots and they'll tell you if each spot is free etc.. alternatively have a little look along roads for lay bys by scrolling around maps, check street view to confirm it's actually okay for parking and not a passing point

They were responsible for training, there was absolutely no hint or suggestion they would use military instructors as a deterrent. Sending troops for a peacekeeping mission is an entirely different situation

If my memory serves me right it's biggest issues were performance related which were incrementally improves with patches over time, it was still unplayable for a lot of people including myself

Are the animals assigned to particular places like in FS2020 or are they generated at random, so for example without setting out to find animals could you stumble upon them by chance?

I camp in the chilterns from time to time, if you can get to Amersham, Great Missenden or Wendover and take yourself on a nice hike, preferably through woodland and you might get some nice ideas! Be careful camping under certain trees/loose branches ofcourse

The pictures of the shrapnel all over twitter show stormshadow written on them and BBC/skynews confirmed it via sources stating it was British missiles. Definately not the French ones on this occasion.

Bunt_smuggler

It's being reported on news here in the UK, Sky News tends to wait for reputable sources and it's running it as its headline

I think everyone's covered a lot, I'll add my advice and say to consider weight, if you want to hike far and high up with your gear, it's worth considering, I'm relatively new wild camping and my first purchases were far too heavy for what I wanted to do (camping up on mountains in the lake district). Another thing I'm discovering now is how good quality thermal clothing, heat ratings of sleeping bags and sleeping mats effect things and I'm having a wonderful time being warm, even in winter.

I've had to replace coil packs in the past, last time was only 5 months ago. I might have ordered one this morning but I figured it was too much of a coincidence this issue occurred right after changing the coolant - do you think in anyway there can be a connection? Could overtopping the coolant up by a tad too much impact things as silly as ot sounds?

Bunt_smuggler

I probably did, but an inch over at the very least, nowhere near the brim, do you think a small overfill would have such an effect?. Now it is slightly under the fill point and the engine seems okay from what little testing I've done.

Bunt_smuggler

Are you talking about the man who said that about the rioters this summer? If so that wasn't David Lammy...

FYI It's only a combined income if the spouse has a permit to work in the UK and is working in the UK, otherwise the British national would have to earn the 29000 by themselves, any money the spouse earns in a foreign country doesn't count. On top of this you'd have to pay up at least £6000 right away for applications/NHS plus more later on, have suitable accommodation with space.

So in your scenario, after arriving in the UK, the British national would need to quickly find a job earning £29,000, this would need to be much higher if kids were involved, quickly find suitable accommodation and then only in half a year would you be able to make an expensive application because you need to prove you have worked for that much time. By that time ofcourse who knows how bad the situation in Lebanon might be.

Bunt_smuggler

How can you possibly look at that account and take it seriously in an age were misinformation online is as bad as it is...

Green policies have broad support across all the popular British Parties except for Reform, possibly, so I would expect Labour to be good. Conservatives despite being more to the right also had a decent track record relative to other countries on tackling climate change o would mention

I'd expect better policies that protect human rights under Labour, Starter has distances himself from populist policies that effect human rights unlike the tories. For example he is already abolishing th Rwanda scheme that would send migrants to Rwanda. There is however an issue of migrants coming across the channel and it would be very hard for Labour to ignore this has it is a hot topic for most people here.

This happened to one my mum put up at her house in the night, apparently loads in our street were stolen

He's not American, he's Indian and he didn't claim to have seen all of Europe, just visited the continent for the first time.

Bunt_smuggler

I wouldn't expect people from countries that adopt the euro to know £ conversions off the top of their head either.

Bunt_smuggler

Because it's a UK newspaper and the article is catered towards british audience who use £

Bunt_smuggler

Incidents like this were shown all over western TV
