And this is how the service becomes no longer cheaper than owning a car and essentially killing itself until they can replace drivers with computers.

Too much salad can also kill you, precisely because it is a low calorie food. Calories are a component of nutrition too as they relate to the amount of energy that a food provides through the process of respiration. If you don't get enough calories for long enough you develop a medical condition known as starvation. A 2000 calorie diet is not standard for all persons. And not all persons have the budget to provide this sort of diet regularly.

That aside, you're going to have to explain what you mean by 'nutritional value'. 'empty calories' is only a problem if that is what a significant portion of your diet consists of. If you are consuming a variety of foods and have a suitable activity level or metabolism, you can occasionally need those 'empty calories' so that you are not overloading on a particular vitamin or mineral but are still meeting your caloric needs for the day.

No, this is not a common situation these days. Nor are fries the best thing for you considering other options. But, again, unless you are eating them regularly in large quantities instead of other foods, it won't cause you any meaningful harm. Same as anything which is predominately carbohydrate (pasta, corn, bread, ect).

It happened when schools stopped teaching critical thinking skills and instead just focused on students remembering and reciting the information they were fed. A young child asks the question "why?" constantly until they enter school where they are told to "sit down, shut up, and take notes". Until it leads to situations like this, where people parrot incorrect information that they heard from someone who seemed authoritative enough without considering what is being said, who is saying it, or why.

Define 'good'. Bad or good in this context really depends on your nutritional needs, how frequently you consume something, and how much of that thing you consume per instance.

Is it still basically nothing more than carbs and fat without any other meaningful nutrients? Yes.

Is it somehow poisonous or not real food simply because it doesn't develop mold? No.

They are just fried strips of potato. There's nothing arcane or evil about how they're produced, and they are no worse for your health than any other potato that has been dipped in a vat of vegetable oil and sprinkled with salt. Calories, carbohydrate, and fat is only associated with 'bad' food because we (the West mostly) eat so much of it and don't have an activity level to match our intake.

All things, if taken to excess, will be bad for you.

All frames based around CC are really needing some tweaks. Too many enemies now are immune to CC effects. Too many CC effects do nothing but impede movement, often making the act of killing them more difficult.

As in preservatives which either break down in the body (usually into a form of sodium or fat) or pass from the body without being broken down. I'm not a chemist, and you probably wouldn't care to look at the research on the subject. But most preservatives used for food are safe for human consumption unless taken to excess. In this case, it is citric acid and salt... So yes, benign.

And before you harp in on the 'excess' part... Too much of anything can kill you. There are safety guidelines for most food additives, and most of these guidelines are well above what would normally be consumed within a short period of time.

As long as you aren't eating them every day or foods which are similar, there's no reason to get bent out of shape.

Way to misquote and completely ignore the point being made. Spiteful much?

Mostly starch (carbohydrate) from the potato, fat from the oil, sodium from the salt added to it. Beyond that it really depends on the particular species and growth environment. But it is still about the same as any kind of potato once you've removed the skin since the skin contains most of the vitamins and minerals usually associated with potatoes.

Calories are technically nutritional content by the way. One of those little facts that people often overlook because they get too many calories from what they eat and don't get enough activity.

So hold on. Don't police still wait 24 hours before acknowledging the missing persons report unless it was a clearly witnessed abduction? Then why the fuck does every police drama involving a missing person do this whole thing?

Welcome to EA DLC policy. Please pay full price for a game, $40 more for a season pass, then another $25 for each of the things we cut from the game but decided not to include in the season pass.

Circle jerking aside, this shit actually happens.

Grammar with a capital G... Sure. But nitpicking the individual usage of a word in an informal context when the entirety of the message being conveyed was completely understood despite the mistake, is not helping. It is only speaking up for the sake of trying to sound better than the other person, trying to encourage others to be dismissive of what was said regardless of content, or because they have a stick lodged so firmly up their ass that they can't ever let anything go.

Not if the cord breaks in the middle during extraction because of the increased strain from a clenching anus. I did say half a string.

It's only because Mojang has this history of trying to duplicate something they saw in a popular mod, then stopping short of realizing it to the point it needed to go (villagers), or failing in execution completely (horses).

Look to modded Minecraft. You can still have that sort of experience that was present in earlier versions but have a ton more else that usually fits in so well with it.

Never personally understood the rationality of these caches myself. Yeah, ran across a few dozen of them as a child... Everything from vanilla sex to lesbian to... well you get the idea.

Don't want your wife/husband finding them, okay, great. But then are you making regular trips out to the middle of the woods at night to flick the bean? What makes you think that a kid won't notice a garbage bag tucked away in an odd part of the woods and immediately investigate? And then you're having to spend another few months building up your collection in secret again. How is it practical or secure?

I mean, if you're with someone, it is assumed that sex has or eventually will come into the picture at some point. You may not get understanding, but isn't it better to just be open with your partner about your desires, kinks, and needs if only so that you don't get stuck with someone who is just going to bore the hell out of you sexually and leave you feeling trapped? Yeah, she may not understand why you have such an interest in BBC as a white guy, but I think she would feel better from being a contributing part of what gets you off than you going around behind her back for it.

It's because they bathe each fry in a fluid containing a small amount of salt and benign preservatives right after being washed and cut and partially cook them before flash freezing and shipping out to stores. Any mold spores that might have been internal were killed during the bath, cooking and rapid freezing, any environmental spores after cooking have a harder time getting through the cooked outer portion of the fry. Being saturated in vegetable oil also serves as a countermeasure against mold, much the same way that the bottle of vegetable oil you have in your cupboard can stay good to use for months at a time.

If mashed up, it will mold, very quickly. But people ignore this part because they're so hooked into the idea of it being 'fake' food.

And this is how locally hosted porn folders come back into popularity.

Burlsol

Probably not. Safety reasons. Having half a string of anal beads stuck up your ass and not being able to get them out because your asshole keeps clenching would make for a fairly horrifying experience. Also harder to explain to your doctor that "you just sat on something".

Being tapered like this means that it slides in easier due to slowly expanding size, then slides back out easier as the muscles quiver and tense up from the stimulation. Your friend will just have to settle for fisting.

Except that the armpits are located near some very major blood vessels as well as the core of your body. It didn't develop as a thermally active location without good reason. While yes, the crotch and head are also thermally active regions, neither of these is in such close proximity to the central point where all blood moves through.

While true, there sweat glands in other regions, particularly hands and feet, the amount of cooling provided by just these regions does not compare to those located more centrally, especially when most of these regions are not exposed to moving air.

Burlsol

Except, if an anti-perspirant is used too often, doesn't it cause your body to perspire more than normal as a biological process related to trying to cool down? It may limit the amount of sweat available to bacteria when a person is sedentary and inactive, but could potentially increase the amount of perspiration produced while active allowing bacteria to produce far more odor than normal.

As a chemist, why aren't you instead looking at a solution which might impede bacterial growth or change the chemical composition of the acids being produced from sweat such that it might not be as offensive to the senses. Perhaps even seeding areas with a specially bred form of the bacteria which will still eat the sweat, but not produce odor in the same way; something like probiotics for the armpit.

Yes, I know, the answer here is money. People buying more antiperspirant and deodorant than they need is good for the companies who make it and pay for you to do what you do. But still.

Another fun fact, it was rolled out to make people remain sure of themselves in the face of global terrorism at the hands of those with extremist views. Then the slogan caught on, was printed on t-shirts, bastardized, memeified, and turned into the worst kind of pure shit that modern society can churn out until the point where people cannot see the deviations of the slogan without groaning audibly; meanwhile the extremist views are alive and well despite our willingness to decide that they are defeated for sake of patting ourselves on the back just in time for re-election. All in the span of a few years.

And this is why I hate most of humanity. We take something profound, unique, and meaningful and shit all over it, every time.

Doctors aren't grammatical experts. Being the offspring of a doctor also doesn't necessarily mean that there is a genetic or environmental transfer of skills or capacities from this profession. Additionally, a person can still be intelligent and capable even when they are not as capable with grammatical differences between synonyms or just not concerned with being as exact with their random comments on the internet.

Being a doctor is a profession that people need. Being a grammar nazi is not a profession and is not helpful to anyone.

Burlsol

And combining both generally makes everything much worse. "You people can't really do two things at once" sounds personal, and insulting, to both the individual and any collective they might represent.
