Since you're new, focus on building your reputation with CO/XO/DH/etc. That means staying on top of quals and managing your division/programs well. It's not a fast process, and it takes a few months to settle in, but it's absolutely essential if you want your CO to eventually send you.

How are you tracking with your quals? That’s your objective right now. If you’re behind schedule, you need to pick up the pace, and a time commitment like SAR swimming wont help.  If you’re ahead and knocking it out of the park, you have a better shot at getting to yes.

Iowa Preflight too IIRC

And Lane Kiffin was their last coach to win in South Bend

And to clarify, on those trains you can tap in and out with your IC card

Pitt had quite a few sacks too

If you're staying at one place in Tokyo the whole time, unless you have some special baggage (for example, ski gear) I'm not sure if luggage forwarding is worth it. Yes, your trip from Narita to Tokyo will be inconvenienced, but you're only doing it twice.

What do we mean by "BBQ?" Yakiniku? Korean BBQ? Smoked meats?

NFL players are not HS players. They’re practically superhuman; they’ve been in professional strength and conditioning programs for years. And the 17+ game season is hard on the body; rookies get a rude awakening when the season goes longer than in CFB.

There are tons of great hikes; Hawaii is very mountainous. But I’d recommend a car for at least part of the trip. Diamond Head is next to Waikiki, and Oahu does have bus service that reaches a few popular hikes, but if you’re an experienced hiker you definitely want your own set of wheels.

Fair warning, I don’t have numbers, but some things to consider: - What’s the ratio of military CHs to regular AF-paying CHs?  - From my own experience, you’d be surprised how many military folks get the Plat and stop there, putting all of their spend on the Plat instead of optimizing (this was me for years). - It helps recruit customers who will ideally stay in the ecosystem long-term. Similar to Apple offering college students big discounts. Bear in mind that the majority of people only do 5-10 years in the military.

Pretty much every decent hotel will give you a pourover pack of coffee you can use with the electric kettle. If you need extra, you can get packs from konbinis, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc.

This isn't Google

Why not just stay a night in one of those cities, assuming you have enough days in your itinerary? I've done weekend getaways to Hokkaido back when I lived in Japan. You can go HND to CTS on one leg, then CTS to ITM on the second (or vice-verse).

The 97-yarder was a fun play, sure, but it's an outlier. Yards per rush, rushing yards per game, and especially rushing success rate are way more valuable metrics.

BusterBluth13

It's an even year though

BusterBluth13

We'd need Florida to upset UGA

BusterBluth13

It was a close game against the now #1 team, and in a H2H I'd pick Bama over anyone except UGA/OSU/Miami/ND. I'd put them ahead of IU.

BusterBluth13

Wisconsin is effectively #26

BusterBluth13

Honestly worse. They're super lucky that Nebraska choked. I'd take Bama in a H2H.

BusterBluth13

A lot of good HCs have losing records against Marshall

BusterBluth13

Too many folks reading box scores instead of watching the games

BusterBluth13

Longest run does NOT correlate to being a good team. Case it point: Rice, ECU, and Maryland in the top 5.

BusterBluth13

I get it, but I’m way more confident in OSU winning a rematch

BusterBluth13

I’d pick them over Texas for sure
