It is not illegal to divorce someone who is disabled. I'm not married, so take this with a grain of salt. This really sounds like emotional abuse. This is something very similar that's going on with two friends in my life right now. He's probably emasculated by you for you being the bread winner, and him not bringing nothing of value. Have you ever considered divorce?

I know not related but I used to put Doc Martens in Patagonia level with their warranties. And then before COVID Doc Marten took away the lifetime warranty, sucks.
