With the StoveHut do you often open the side “viewing” wall?
CTExplorer
Thanks for the reply. Yes, gear is my primary question. Your leads on locations is helpful too. 🙏
I built a pulk last season and want to test it out this year.

Looks great. Enjoy every session and the payoff for all your hard work!

At least in my particular case, I’ve learned that the adage is very true, the best camera is the one that you have with you.
I end up keeping a basic Sony body and a single lens in my backpack all the time that way when I come across an interesting scene, I’m able to capture it.

Great shot.
I appreciate you sharing. What setup do you like to use?
You reminded me to post more CT photos here. Thanks!

Consider enclosing the vestibule. That will provide a buffer to stop the sauna from cooling too much when the door opens. It will also provide a medium temperature place to cool down. A nice balance between the sauna and the cold plunge.
CTExplorer
Right. Somehow my prints are always just barely fitting at the margins.
CTExplorer
Nice design. Were you able to print it as a single part?
CTExplorer
You were exactly right. Thank you. :)

For sure. They are way overkill. I bought the smallest beams I could buy at the local steel yard.
CTExplorer
Agreed. Also, material this low will see very little heat exposure.
CTExplorer
Great job!

Lovely. I enjoy the red lighting.
I’m actually about to modify my lights from yellow to a more amber/red tone.
CTExplorer
Yes!
I also used steel beams (in my case because I did not want center supports on the ~10’ benches). The ones I bought from a steel supply yard and I had them zinc plated to resist corrosion.
Here are some pictures of my construction process.
Nice job with the curve shape for your build.
CTExplorer
Amazing! Enjoy the good heat and the proximity to that lake/river.
Do you have more picture of the rest of the build.

Travel distance is not a factor for me, I'm more focused on going to whichever single event has the most diversity and scale.

Send me a DM 👍
I have a Dome 4 and Pomoly Ti-Ultra 3 stove right now. They are a bit big and heavy.
I realize winter hot tenting will never be ultralight, but I want to at least work to minimize weight.
Have you ever considered a hybrid hammock setup?
I feel like my Dome 4 is way too big for seating up in a dense forested area.
