Walt Disney World cast member here, since the topic of the electric bill was brought up. I’m not sure about Disneyland but Disney in general is a very environmentally friendly company and at WDW they have enough solar panels to power one entire park with solar energy. Disneyland most likely uses solar power as well so the electric bill probably isn’t as high as one would think.

What if Covid didn’t alter Saber’s original premise. The original plans for Saber would’ve been cool to see.

Does anyone know how long it takes for Bandai to get back to you on a replacement part? I bought the MG Barbatos Lupus but two runners and the sticker sheet were missing. I submitted the report two weeks ago and got an email saying they were looking into it but it’s been silent since then.

I think in a more comedic setting the old married couple absolutely works for them. But by the time of CCA we have an older Amuro who’s matured and is absolutely done with Char’s shit. That’s not to say he hates Char, I think he’s disappointed, he saw Char as Quattro actively trying to be better and even Amuro started to believe in him. Amuro acts like an adult scolding a child towards Char in the final conversation of CCA, actively dismantling every one of Char’s arguments and I think it’s because he does consider Char a friend. That’s the dynamic I like with them. Amuro being able to move on while Char is trying to pull Amuro back in and Amuro being absolutely done with that rivalry.

I don’t like it when it’s portrayed as both of them being into each other. However when it’s portrayed as one sided feelings on Char’s part while Amuro wants absolutely nothing to do with his bullshit, that’s a fun dynamic.

There’s something emotional about the end credits of the final episode of Kuuga. Probably because Godai has never shown up again. You see him one last time, walking off to live his life, interacting with kids, the people he fought for as he goes to find his smile again. It’s very emotional

I like Amuro a lot and really enjoyed his growth and development. However I feel like he’s often gotten the short end of the stick compared to Char. GQuuuuuuX gave Char a happy ending or at least a version of Char finally got a happy ending. I can’t think of any versions of Amuro that has had a happy ending and it adds to the character but I’d love to see a version of Amuro happy for once.

It’s also a web series and not a mainline entry, you didn’t really call anything.

Finally a topic I can contribute to. I work at Disney World at one of the rides, it’s less that it caters to kids and more to families as a whole. But post covid the experience hasn’t been what it used to be. Lines are longer, the theming isn’t as on point anymore and the people visiting are massively entitled and there’s regular confrontations between groups and even against employees, I’ve even been assaulted several times. Disney World definitely isn’t what it used to be, I get in for free and I avoid going now.
