The only boss I have ever killed without a second player is fire giant and it took me 45 tries and 7 rage quits. My entire Elden Ring playthrough has been through the co-op mod. You see, I am a moron with zero sense of direction, so I can't navigate in the game by myself and have very bad positional awareness even in simple boss rooms. I'm very thankful someone was willing to spend nearly 100 hours telling me to go left, no your left, LEFT oh my god wait I'll come get you, just follow me, WHERE ARE Y- you just rolled off a cliff didn't you. I love this beautiful game and I'm glad I found a way to make it accessible and just challenging enough that it didn't make me want to quit. Only Radagon is left now and then it is finished.

I was told it would just be a little pinch too. Explicitly asked if I would be able to come alone, on bike. No problem.
Cue me writhing in 9/10 pain for 30 minutes, crying, being told to shut the fuck up and that I'm being dramatic. Had someone pick me up by car. Spent two days in bed.
Then the same 8/10 pain came back every time I got my periods, which lasted almost 9 days every time. Heaviest flow I'd ever had. Went to the doctor. Was told period pain is normal and to not be so dramatic. Two weeks after the insertion I got appendicitis, and didn't realise it because the pain of the IUD was far, far worse.
It was only about two years later that I was advised by an ER doctor to have it taken out ASAP. Never had period pain above a 2/10 before or after that IUD. Never again.

Yeesh these teacup puppy videos need to be banned off this sub. This isn't aww, this is and ad for irresponsible breeders and their sickly puppies. I see these people sticking their hands in these dogs' faces for the "wow so smol" effect. Not once have I seen someone actually show even a little bit of genuine affection for these dogs.

Teacup Pomeranian, if I'm not mistaken. Don't buy teacup puppies though, they're often very sickly and irresponsibly bred for quick money. This video is reversed, the dog is trying to get out of these weird grips. A very key thing to recognise teacup breeder ads is the very prominent hand-to-puppy size comparison.

Edit: this article, while not having a source quoted, does hold truth, be it the title was written in a way to imply they were permanently sterilised (like through surgery, which was not the case here, but has been done in the past): https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israel-gave-birth-control-to-ethiopian-jews-without-their-consent-8468800.html They were administered a birth control without their fully informed consent. Forceful sterilisation however, implies some kind of surgery or it being permanent, so the title is misleading in that sense imo. This drug however does come with risks and side effects (lower bone density). Women who had the shot can take up to two years to have their fertility back to normal. They were however, coerced or deceived into taking this birth control according to the report. It is awful without a doubt.

The dead giveaway is the person filming putting their hand next to the dog the whole time, it's to emphasize the scale. They don't really pet the dog or show it love, they put a finger in their face and hold them up, it's to emphasize just how small the puppy is. If you look for videos of teacup puppies, you'll see the same thing over and over again.
Dog in odd situations, owner putting their hand next to it, cute music. It's like an advert for a car, but instead it's a cute puppy, born prematurely, purposely bred only to be small.

Same actually!

The thing is that people are propagating this as a miracle cure (another link), not a last sacrament kind of thing. It's the equivalent of a doctor putting holy water in your mouth to cure covid. That's not what a last sacrament is about, it's a priest saying some prayers and whatever to guide you to the afterlife.
I've been around people who were approaching their end, at that point you stop manipulating their bodies and only focus on comfort. Pouring water into their lungs is just, no. Once they're like this, everything you do that's not about comforting the dying is for the sake of the people around them.
Edit: pressed enter too soon like an absolute dunce
