People are upset with the fucking Price and the fact that its a shitty Gacha system. If it was a simple direct purchase outfit for $50 people would have no issues with it. They removed gacha aspects from the closed beta after enough criticism and feedback just to shove them right back in 2 weeks after launch.

"Other F2P games charge for cosmetics too!" I saw PoE used as an example, These games are nothing alike. PoE isn't charging you out the ass to gamble for a chance at the cosmetics you want. I've seen a lot of cool armor options that are just direct purchase from the store. Aniimo has TERRIBLE free cosmetics currently, I havent spent my voxel coins on a single item from the cosmetic shop rotation yet. Its so disappointing, But we have a thousand dollar gacha elf outfit on week 2 oh boy!

I would suggest avoiding Aion 2 unless they make changes to their business model. Pasting my response to someone else further down in the thread.

Aion 2 was confirmed to be P2W directly by the devs, They recently had a livestream for the game talking about monetization. F2P, But will have 2 Premium subscriptions (One being $20, The other being $30. And yes, You can have both at the same time.) as well as a battle pass. Ontop of that they have plans on monetizing the in game gold currency just like Lost Ark. The issue is their in game auction house works off of gold, so you can purchase the premium currency, convert it to gold, then directly buy gear from the auction house.
