my whole creations of bile army is horus heresy models with tyranid heads and weapons

tacticals for legionaries, chosen and havocs
assault squads for raptors and warp talons
tartaros termis are regular termis
cataphractii are possessed
saturnine ofc obliterators
sky hunters are bikers (need outrider bases because they are really chonky, so only for casual games)

sizewise i see no problems with infantry
rhino chassis is exactly the same, landraider is an inch shorter tho
to proxy a helbrute you have four dreadnoughts to choose from
fiends and venomcrawler are tricky, no idea what model to use here, maybe mechanikum

i use the horus heresy sky hunter squadrons, but only in kitchen table games since they need outrider sized bases (i hope they need those someday anyway)

looks more like an EC

compared to lord felthius new huron is kinda hot

the chaos upgrade sprues came in an issue of the dark imperium magazine
you can find them on ebay for about 15€

they also come in the chaos-rhino and predator kits (not sure about the vindicator)
some people don't use them at all or not everything and leftovers can be found in bitz trading groups on facebook (or again ebay)

the diy way are plastic rods and a pencil sharpener, toothpicks or just sprue and a cutter knive for very crude looks
skulls can be found in the skulls kit by games workshop but i suggest 3D prints from friends or ebay, the offical ones are very expensive for the numbers
space marine helmets can be donated by your local marine player, they have plenty spare

if you play killteam one of the legionaries is equipped with "demonic claw and bolt pistol"
in regular games it's a close combat weapon or simply aestethics

CSM can do both, nothing wring with shooty lists

if still possible: i'd change the legs so the knee is on the backside, makes more sense for walking on fours (see dogs and cats) and you have a little more room for positioning

militarum and nids (i already play those in addition to my chaos armies)

to be fair: 12 marine don't fit in a landraider either (unless you spruegoo them)

a named character is mostly just a nice addon, unless the datasheet is absolutely nuts in which case it will be nerfed anyway

if gw decides to refresh demons they propably release a legendary character for each deity (i want my kugath)
but since demons didn't recieve a codex in 10th and propably will be baked into deity codicies for 11th i don't think it will happen soon
