Thanks. Did this a few years ago. Was meant to be stupid but came out well.

Caught_In_A_Mashup

Had no idea!

Such a great show. It was the first bootleg I ever heard.

This subreddit was very active some years ago. Many posts, including some of mine, would get likes/dislikes sometimes in the hundreds. Then some years ago the moderators went on some protest that I couldn't work out and blocked people from posting. It killed the subreddit and I don't think it ever recovered. Personally I don't see why anyone would just post unconstructive criticism. What a waste of energy. Additionally, with the advances in AI generated music, mashups are kind of a thing of the past. This particular one was made a few years ago.

Personally I don't care about negative comments. I made this for fun some years ago. I am not a DJ (or have the time or skills) so I go for 'stupid' rather than technically proficient. But I definitely get your point about not being able to hear flaws when you work on something. You hear it how you want to hear it rather than how it actually is. I would have made this one before I ever thought about modifying tempos.

Not good, it's great.

remix.audio has mashups on there. I've posted a few. This sub used to get a lot of activity years ago but it shut down for a while for some reason and it seems pretty quiet now. Possibly one way to go is to find mashup DJs and subscribe to their youtube channels which may help the algorithm direct mashups your way. I think that possibly another factor is that years ago mashups were unique and a novelty but now it's being replaced by AI generated music and this is what the algorithm favours.

Thanks. It's one of my favourite mashups. If you look at the youtube channel I go more for 'stupid' than technical. This one started out as another joke concept but as I started playing around with it I realised that it really worked.

Caught_In_A_Mashup

Lol!

Caught_In_A_Mashup

More than happy for someone else to do it. Thought it was synced as best as possible.

Unfortunately I don't think it matters that the video you used appears elsewhere. I lost a youtube channel (wasn't commercial - was just for fun) for unwittingly using viral videos from their catalogue that I've seen elsewhere. The channel was gaining attention which is probably why it was targeted. If they have a licence for it they will slap a strike on it.

If you do pay the fee there is no guarantee they will lift the strike. They probably don't care as they have your money. You could seek legal advice, but most likely that will be more than the $550 KGH are asking for.
