I built an agent skill that turns any codebase into a playable pixel-art RPG city (walk around, talk to your classes, find god objects) (i.redd.it) [Tip/Resource]

Made a skill that lets Claude turn any repo into a pixel-art city you can walk around (classes are NPCs, god classes are bosses) (v.redd.it) [Project]

Thanks, that’s a fair question, and it’s the weakest spot right now.

It never calls your APIs or runs the app. A screen scene is 2 to 5 static snapshots of the UI, written from your components with your real labels, layout and colours. For a feature that depends on several API responses, it shows the screen once everything has loaded, not the requests themselves. It picks the state worth showing (loaded, empty, error) and fills it with values from your fixtures, seed files or test mocks, so the numbers look real rather than made up.

Your comment made me add the preview step, and it’s live now. Before building, it shows you the storyboard as plain text: every scene, caption and the text in each screen state, plus which values are sample data. You can say “use the empty state instead” or “make that user a team account,” and it updates the storyboard and shows it again. It only builds once you say “build it.” If you’d rather skip the preview, just say “just make it.”

Thanks for the push 🙏
