I mean, it’s considered a fantastic post workout meal and it’s highly customizable to dietary needs. There’s also plenty of NBA players standing by Chipotle as a go-to restaurant (Mikal Bridges being the most famous one).

It’s a heavy meal and from a dietary standpoint, not great for refueling your body.
Hot lobster rolls are prepared with hot butter (on and on the side depending where you go). Cold lobster rolls are made with a lot of mayo. It’s going to hit like a rock in your stomach.

Lobster rolls fresh off a basketball workout sounds like a disaster.

Being limited to mono white hurts a bit.

My LGS used to run a league with a point system; you got points for casting your commander, playing the month’s theme, etc… with additional points from each player in the post game where they could divide them up however they wanted amongst their opponents. The majority of points a person scored came from other players distributing their points to them.
At the end of each month, the person with the most points on the month won and got to pick next month’s theme.
There were two major issues that popped up with this system.
Post game points are assigned arbitrarily. Even if you won the game, if your opponents didn’t like your deck, they could give all their points
to a specific
opponent
.
2. With how low stakes the league was, the points didn’t matter too much. Picking the theme for the month was cool but wasn’t special. (Themes were pretty generic; graveyard matters, chair in the commander’s art, non-human commander, partners only, etc….)
In any tournament setting for EDH, you’re asking casual players to put a focus on winning. This creates king making scenarios where people purposely will purposely force a draw or offer one to preserve point totals. If the points are tied to prizing (packs, money, accessories), there will most likely be some degree of collusion or bracket warping occurring.
If you’re going to host a tournament, I would focus on rewarding players for what they’re doing in games (they track this information via sheet or survey). I think a point for the winner and then a style point (for coolest deck or most obscure card) could work if you want that social aspect of scoring to be factored in.

Others already mentioned it but these are great for dividers in your boxes. While prerelease happens for a set, I always ask around since everyone tosses them.
They’re somewhat flimsy but it’s cool to have a MTG divider and they get the job done.

Vegas’s key to success has been always putting out a competitive team no matter what. They’ve missed the playoffs once, the entire time they’ve been in the league. They still almost made it that year.
They also spend more than anyone else. They’ve done everything they can to stretch out the last penny they can under the cap. The Knights are focused on creating a product people want to engage with, something I think a lot of owners have started to miss.

Lewiston just lost the Nordiques, Maine doesn’t have the population to support a team unfortunately.
Manchester is an interesting location, NH is a sleeper location. It could do well there but they’d have to establish community ties early on.

Zion and BI have already played together previously, didn’t really work out as intended.
I think it’d be a fun team but lucky to win 35 games with all their availability concerns.

It seems like European fans treat Wins and Losses the way fans of football teams do. A bad week or two, their team tumbles down the standings.
Shorter season, wins simply matter that much more too.

He was also way better than expected though. He was on his way out of the league and that season showed the league that he was still legit. Grizzlies didn’t win much but he was a bright spot for an otherwise horrible season.

I appreciate that they went basic land cycling rather than the color specific land cycling- makes them a lot more versatile.

It might be a weird comp but he reminds me of Jeremy Evans/Javale McGee. Gangly and Athletic, he can jump all over the place but the IQ isn’t quite there and the defense needs to be respectable.
At the very least, fun fit for the dunk contest.

The deck is really good at going wide and going tall, really depends how much you lean into tokens or +1/+1. Mana dorks a great for ensuring a T2 Torens. A lot of different stax effects work with Torens as well.

I feel like Oladipo has a better shot at a return. He played well in the G-League last year, the only knock on him outside the injury history is his age. Lonzo looked completely done, and I was someone who going into last season thought he had something left in the tank.

You got Draisaitl AND McDavid. If you miss the playoffs, that’s a complete and utter disappointment.
Your squad has a lot of depth, goaltending is the only position I’d have some concerns over but an all around solid roster.

They’re saying [[Mox Opal]] is so expensive that deck checking the validity over your opponent’s cards is now the meta move to countering a Kappa Canoneer.
r/magicthecirclejerking has leaked into the main sub.

This is amazing, great choices on the foils. They all fit with each landscape nicely.

If Eubanks beats out Wiseman, that dude is never making it back to the NBA.
Cbone06
He shots really well at times, that’s about it. Hard worker though from what I understand, he had to grind his way into the league.

For this version in particular? It could be anywhere between $50-$300 bucks. Showcase foils like this are incredibly difficult to pull. If the card is even remotely playable, it will be quite pricey.
It’s too soon to call what the price will land at but think of a budget you’re comfortable spending and wait for the release to happen. First two weeks of a set tend to be the Wild West, where pricing jumps around. Pay attention to market trends leading into the official release weekend and then post release.

10/10 deck name. No notes.

*Theoretically* pulling the weight of the world here.
Reanimating is the right idea though, this is a decent target for [[Trash for Treasure]].
Love this design. It replaces itself in the late game but also gives you a board. Awesome design for limited.
If this is a cycle, I’m definitely picking them all up. Token lands are very powerful.
