X4 was a breath of fresh air for me not having a touch screen because my mind is percieving touch screens wherever it looks. It's nice to see a useful, daily usage device that doesn't have it.

You say it's a trade off. You made a change that almost nobody will notice, as a trade off to something that 100% people will notice, and that to many of those 100% it is also an inconvenience. It is an illogical trade off. It only becomes logical if you are truly purely obsessed with just making the thinnest device ever and that is your only goal. And that means your goal has nothing to do with customer satisfaction, it's just a personal obsessive goal.
