Itsyconnect has a built in MCP server.

ChefAccomplished845

Wait, you can reset?

ChefAccomplished845

There is AI writer for appeals citing guidelines and reasoning in Itsyconnect app:)

ChefAccomplished845

Just press Appeal, they remove it almost instantly

ChefAccomplished845

I use opus from anthropic, yes

ChefAccomplished845

Thought iOS engineers are app builders🙈

ChefAccomplished845

Product + architect is the new engineer. You dont need to know the syntax of a programming language, but you need to know how pieces fit and what customers want.

ChefAccomplished845

For appstore, try Itsyconnect, just much less hassle and can also translate screenshots.

ChefAccomplished845

First pass with AI, upload to Lokalise or similar, invite app users (or pay reviewers) to review/amend. Repeat:)

ChefAccomplished845

Now it feels that they are doing this intentionally, really. Which would be a shame.

ChefAccomplished845

I wish they refunded the difference for the period it took them. That's pure robbery!

ChefAccomplished845

For that kind of reviews appeals work perfectly, but you need to write them correctly. There is a built-in feature in Itsyconnect that helps to write these, works like a charm.

ChefAccomplished845

Hey! I will add this to Itsyconnect as soon as they publish API docs

ChefAccomplished845

Thanks! Spread the word;)

Nice tool! Curious how you're getting the popularity scores – is this pulled from the Apple Ads API directly? I've been trying to get at that data for my own apps and couldn't figure out a clean way to do it.

EDIT: Does not work, says Apple Ads session expired. Cookies need to be refreshed. – I don't think it's allowed by the rules to scrape Apple Ads in such manner either case.

ChefAccomplished845

Hey! Biased opinion here, but for localisations and screenshot translation itsyconnect.com saves a lot of time!

Hey, could you clarify? There is "Screenshots" item in the sidebar, you can drag and drop over or press "Add image".

ChefAccomplished845

Even if you are distributing your apps via DMG, they need to be notarized to avoid privacy warning for users, so it's either clicking around privacy and "open anyway" or you paying $99.

I personally never trust non-notarized apps.

ChefAccomplished845

Thanks – if you are asking how I personally do it – I do not, I just take them manually. There are no any automations in Itsyconnect either.

ChefAccomplished845

Totally fair concern! The app is open source so you can audit every line of code yourself. API keys are stored in your macOS Keychain and never leave your machine - no servers, no telemetry, no accounts. You’re connecting directly to Apple’s API, same as Helm or fastlane.

Thanks, very useful!

ChefAccomplished845

Thanks, that is very useful

I've released v1.2.2 which also includes app picker on start, but you might need to delete $HOME/Library/Application Support/itsyconnect-macos/itsyconnect.db and start over (but that's quick). Also you can create a key which is App Manager + Finance and it will work! I will update the footnotes in the next release.

Let me know how it goes – https://github.com/nickustinov/itsyconnect-macos/releases/tag/v1.2.2
